Chapter3-Catching Feelings

Narrators POV

Cole ended up going to jail and his parents did nothing about it. The only person who did was his best bud Christopher Jones, he bailed Cole out cause he's like super rich. "Hey I came as soon as I herd. How did you end up in here anyway?", "Because I got caught for cutting Beth, but it wasn't her fault." Cole and Christopher started walking to Bob's diner and Cole was telling Chris about what happened to Elizabeth. They entered the diner and sat at a booth and Bob came to get there order. Cole got a chocolate milkshake with a burger and fries and Christopher got a strawberry milkshake and a hotdog with onion rings. In the meantime Beth was in the hospital and her dad was going to jail for a long time. "How long is my dad going to be in jail for?" , "A long time." A cop said to Beth and then walked out the door.

Four weeks later- Cole's POV

I was getting ready to go to school for the day and for some weird reason I was thinking about Elizabeth.
I got in my car and drove to school. I walked in and I was looking around for Christopher. And there I saw her, standing there beautifully. My fucking god, I wanted to just walk over there and kiss her. I was walking towards her but then some guy went up to her and grabbed her waist and pulled her into a kiss. Christopher walked in front of me and I didn't even pay attention to him I just looked at Beth and that kid."Hello earth to cole.", "Oh...Uh yeah a party cool." I said still looking at Beth. " Did you even hear what I said Cole.", " Yeah something about a party." The bell rang and the guy who kissed Beth left to a different class and I followed Beth. She went into biology class. "Everyone find a partner we have important work to do so hurry up." Our biology teacher said. Beth sat alone so I rushed over to we're she was sitting.

Beth's POV

I was sitting alone for a quick second until someone sat right next to me.I didn't expect this at all it was, surprisingly, Cole James." Elizabeth.", is he talking to me? "Cole?" I said confused. "Who was that guy you we're with?"," Oh,my boyfriend,Trevor,why?"
"Oh just wondering.", "Okay why are you wondering?"
"Just because I've never seen him around before." This is going to be a very weird class. It's like this guy is trying to be..... nice, I have no clue?

Narrators POV

Beth and Cole both we're trying to not have any weird or awkward moment's but they were in no luck cause it was really...weird. The bell rang and Beth got up quick but to quickly that she triped over her own feet and Cole quickly caught her. "You okay?" He said with a smirk on his face. " Uh.... Yeah, but only cause you caught me." Beth got up and bent down to get her books and Cole looked at her ass. She got up and she smiled and he blushed hard, she did as well. "See you later?" Cole said shyly. " Yeah, see you later." Beth walked off smiling big and Cole was too. "Dude what the hell was that? You were just talking to Elizabeth Warren without saying something shitty." Christopher said surprised, "I did didn't I. Well I'm glad I did." Cole said smiling then he walked off blushing and happy thinking, am I catching feelings for Elizabeth Warren?

Next day-Beth's POV

What the hell? I woke to a banging sound on my house door. I ran down stairs and answered the door. It was Cole. "I was hoping I could drive you to school today sense you always have to walk." I am super confused but, " Why not. " I let him in and he sat on my couch I got him some of my lemonade and a bagel so he can have some breakfast. "Here you go. Breakfast is served." I said while smiling. "Oh thanks Elizabeth!?"
" Beth, you can call me Beth.", "Oh I know I just feel like only your friends should call you that not assholes like me." He looked down at the ground and I sat down next to him and turned his face towards me and he looked at me. "You are my friend and all that is in the past." He touched my thigh and said, "Thank you." I kissed him on the check and we both blushed hard. " okay let me get ready then we can go." I ran upstairs and picked out a black jean skirt, a red long sleeve shirt, black converse,and put my hair in a ponytail. "I'M READY!" I yelled and ran down stairs. He looked at me up and down and I blushed and grabbed my jean jacket and put it on them grabbed my backpack. He opened the door for me and I got in his car he got in the front seat and we drove off to school. Once we arrived at school and I got out everyone was staring at us. Cole came by me and grabbed my waist and we went inside. "HEY ASS WIPE, GET THE HELL OFF MY GIRL!" Oh shit, Trevor.

Cole's POV

"Oh hey. It's Trevor right." Trevor came up to me and trough a punch but he missed I pushed Beth out the way and I went into full fight mode. " Listen I don't want to fight you in front of my new friend here, you might know her it's Beth." I said smiling. He trough another punch an I ducked and he trough another punch and so on. I got punched a couple of times but I mostly dodged them and the principal came out,"what oh my gosh.TREVOR MY OFFICE NOW! Your in luck Mr.James your in luck." Beth ran to me and hugged me. Wow her hug is so magical, I want to stay in her arms for ever. "Are you okay? Did he hurt you?" She said worried and softly. " I'm fine don't worry." I said cupping her face. She hugged me again and I kissed her head. School went on and every class we had we looked at each other and passed notes,smiled at each other, and blushed a lot. After school we went to Bob's diner, we sat at a booth together and I flirted nonstop. We ordered a strawberry milkshake and a chocolate cake slice and shared them both. After that I took her to the river we have at Greenville, it has the weirdest name ever, Green Water River the water is not green trust me. We both talked and laughed with each other. We were silent for a while and I got up and picked her up and she was telling me to put her down while laughing. I went into the river and put her in the water she got up and was shook and we were both soaking wet. I smiled and she smiled evil and ran to me and jumped on me, I fell on the ground and she was on top me. Our faces were close and I sat up  and picked her up and she put her legs around my waist and her arms around my neck. I got out the water and put her down, her arms still around my neck, I put my hands on her waist and we looked at each other. "Elizabeth." , "Yeah Cole?" She said softly with her warm breath on my face. "I..."
