bruh they legit gay ships tho

Also yeah, I wrote a (bad) fluffy oneshot of Carpathia and Titanic. End me.

Context: this is after the Titanic 2 sails. Carpathia got on the boat in an attempt to pass over where the Titanic was, and save his buddy. He did but like the Titanic 2 met the same fate as the first. But at least more people were saved. Also Starline is the Carpathia of that disaster, and the ship has their own ship-human.
So after Titanic and Carpathia make it back to America, Carpathia has Titanic live in his house

Also I think I've decided that Titanic and Carpathia are boys. So yeah.

Onto the fluff

Titanic laid on Carpathia's soft bed. His friend next to him, sleeping soundly. Titanic didn't know how his small friend could get a house like this, but he didn't complain.

After Titanic sank the first time, Carpathia was determined to live on for him. Titanic didn't doubt him, but this was something to be proud of. Not to mention all the adjustments he made to his metal form. Titanic was told he would get some later, and he was excited to see what his friend accomplished.

Originally, Titanic didn't even know the Carpathia has a ship-human. But after seeing him on his ship, he became enthralled immediately. Especially after catching him doing something... saddening. Titanic had to make him feel better, and he did.

He let him stay in his room, let him go first class, and above that even. Titanic thought they were friendly gestures at first. After all, he couldn't leave his ship, so he didn't know most stuff about humans and they're affections. But Carpathia did, and he showed him wonders. It was like heaven to Titanic. He felt so free with Carpathia.

Up until the iceberg hit.

Titanic's friend was fast asleep in his room at the time, it was late, after all. He didn't even think to wake up Carpathia at first. When he did, his priority was to get him in a lifeboat. Titanic knew what Carpathia was, he didn't need to be told. When Carpathia refused to leave, Titanic threw him into a boat. He felt bad, but he didn't want his friend to have the same fate as him. He didn't want anyone to have  that fate, especially not the fragile humans on his ship.

It pained Titanic to not be able to save all the humans a second time. Starline saved some that couldn't fit in the lifeboats, but they were few. It was still 800 people gone. He was supposed to be the "Ship of Dreams", "The Unsinkable Ship". Yet he'd let over 2000 people perish on both his ships.

"Carpathia," Titanic whispered as he shook his friend's shoulder. Carpathia stirred awake.

"What is it Tita?" Carpathia asked with the same volume.

"I just wanna talk about something," Titanic answered.

"What do you want to talk about?" Carpathia asked.

"I don't know, anything," Titanic said.

Carpathia paused for a moment, so did Titanic. Their silence wasn't awkward, but it was slightly tense. Carpathia looked at his friend all over, he did like looking at the beautiful ship, and it's ship-human was no different.

"I love you," Carpathia finally said. Titanic felt his interior burn a bit at the statement, "How about we talk about that?"

"You... But aren't we both guys?" Titanic asked. It's not that he didn't feel a strong attraction to Carpathia, but a part of him felt it was wrong.

"Tita, we're ships. Besides, it doesn't matter if we we're men," Carpathia said, "Now that I think about it, you don't have any experience with what love is, do you?"

"I understand it, but not personally," Titanic said.

"Let's play a game, then," Carpathia said, "You know that feeling you got when I confessed to you? I'll try some stuff, and see if you get the same reaction. Okay?"

"Okay, I'll just nod when it does," Titanic said.

Carpathia started with holding Titanic's hands between his. Titanic nodded. Trailing down, Carpathia left a hand on Titanic's side, rubbing it up and down. Titanic nodded again. Carpathia's hand went down, slipping under Titanic's shirt. Titanic laughed as Carpathia's cold hand touched his warm metal, nodding happily.

Titanic suddenly felt Carpathia's hand leave, only to have two of them on his face. Carpathia was closer now, both their eyes locked on the other. Titanic remembered all those couples he saw on the ship. He gently put his hands on Carpathia's hips.

Carpathia nodded himself at the gesture. Titanic felt himself warm up even more, Carpathia getting closer to his warmth. Titanic didn't know what to do, earning a laugh from his friend.

Slowly, Carpathia began to pull Titanic's face closer to his, leaning into it. Titanic panicked internally.

Within a few seconds, Carpathia connected his lips with Titanic's. He moved them gently on Titanic's mouth. Titanic's panic settled as he closed his eyes to let it happen.

The kiss lasted a few minutes, all the while, both ship-humans were burning up. They're bodies warm as they ditched the blanket and decided to exist in the other's warmth.

Carpathia pulled away after a while, Titanic following suit. They looked at the other for a couple seconds, then began to smile. Their smiles turned to laughter as they held the other. They didn't have a reason to laugh, but they did, and it was comforting.

"I love you, Carpathia," Titanic said after their laughter died down. Carpathia kissed Titanic's forehead softly.

"I know. I love you, too, Tita," Carpathia said back. Titanic smiled as he wrapped his arms around Carpathia's waist. Carpathia pulled his hands away from Titanic's face, squishing them between his and his boyfriend's bodies.

Titanic finally went to sleep, still holding Carpathia close to his chest. Carpathia stayed awake a while longer. He took the time to look at his sleeping boyfriend. Carpathia had to admit, he did a good job repairing him. He couldn't wait to add more stuff. Carpathia was glad that Titanic could finally live as a human. He was glad Titanic could finally live.

After a few minutes, Carpathia went to sleep. His body cuddled into Titanic's as his head was pressed under his chin. Carpathia didn't need the blanket anymore, it couldn't be as comfortable as Titanic's arms. Not by a long shot.
