I was finally getting out of the hospital; Fred had agreed to buy a house with me between Southside and Northside even Archie agreed. So while I been looking at houses Fred and Archie had been talking to FP and some others. I seen Jughead and Archie after I signed out, "Where is my brother?" I asked them, "Well...actually I have a question..." "I've been looking at houses big enough to be a safe house for the Southside and Northside. They are both equally important to me. I mean shit your dad is like my big brother." I told Jug. Archie smiled, "And I have a little brother or sister in there." He pointed to my stomach. I laughed, "But I'm hoping your dad likes the house I wanted to get." He looked at me confused as I smiled. "It's a secret." I winked as I got into Archie's Truck. I watched in the mirror they had looked at one another then ran to the truck. I held in a laugh,
Fred: I agree the house would be perfect...I'll put in a offer.
Me: I can always do it!
Fred: It's okay Trust me.
I laughed softly, "Where too?" "Well let's go surprise Sweets at Pop's!" they both laughed at me as I smiled. "Plus bean and I are hungry." I giggled as they smiled.
Fred: Now we wait and see.
"Hey Arch let your dad know that we will be at pops?" he nodded and parked the truck. I smiled and got out excited, I ran inside. "The badest of all Serpents is back baby~!" I yelled, "NAH! I'm already here sis!" I heard Sweets reply. I stuck my tongue out at him and went over so I could sit by him. He had moved over, "So I hear your buying a house?" I looked at him, "Everyone is welcome...Fred and I had a huge talk about it and he doesn't mind." I told him... "Unless you don't want to share a house with Archie." He looked at me, "I can share a house with him and our sister. Though I wasn't fond of it at first but...you know I can live with it as long as we can live in the trailer too." I nodded. "the trailer has been paid off for a long time just like FP's but dare I tell him that." I rolled my eyes. "Wait what.." Toni said, "yours is too. Why do you think I was working so hard?" I asked them Fangs had tears rolling down his face. "You all are like my children I mean I basically raised all of you."
Sweet Pea hugged me while Fangs and Toni where crying; "Look I have money saved up for one more question and I have the papers and everything." "Layla your rambling." I heard as FP put a table to connect it with our booth per Pops okay (Which he didn't care) "You guys want to become my kiddos? Or at least have me as a gardian, I tracked y'alls parents down they signed the papers. Though I am already Sweet Pea's gardian I just need him to sign to make it offical." Fangs and Toni looked at one another. "Hell yes!" "does that mean you will have room for us too?" Toni sniffled. I looked at her, "TT we will have room for anyone just...I need you guys to trust me." "We always have." Fangs said. "Well Fred and I are pregnant." They smiled. "Finally you got pregnant!" i blushed hard. "Shut up Fangs!" He smiled as Archie and Jug came up and sat with us. "SO another thing, that house..." I trailed off, "what about it?" Jughead asked. "Well I own that house as of last month. There was a rich elderly lady that use to live there. I saved her from some people robbing her house. In turn Scarlett and I watched the house and took care of her before she passed away. With the house I had gotten a good chunk of money that I renovated the house with. I want to show you guys the house and I want you to pick out rooms."
Sweet Pea leaned his head on my shoulder, "I'm down. Gives us a reason to use the house and get use to it." "I am warning you though you will get lost." Fred told them as they nodded. I smiled at Fred as we all got up. We got the the house and their jaws dropped. "This house is huge." I giggled softly. "It's a mini mansion. Before you ask 'why didn't the lodges get the house.' Because no one knew about this house it's in the middle of no where." They nodded running inside. I laughed at the group of children that ran inside, I seen Toni waiting; I looked at her confused. "Thank you Layla...You have no idea how happy we all are knowing that you care deeply about us...I feel like Jug. I'm sorry I love you Layla...your like the mom I never had." I smiled. "Of course Toni but you better hurry before everyone thinks you bailed." She nodded running and catching up with everyone. "You gave FP the directions right?" Fred nodded as he hugged me from behind. "I've never seen them this happy. Ever since the black hood, me getting shot and everything going down you being here brings happiness." I smile softly "I try there happiness sometimes means more than my life." I leaned my head on his shoulder as he kissed the top of my head. After a while, "Well this is cute." I heard FP, I looked at him smiling; "The kids are picking out there rooms. You should pick out yours. I have the master with Fred so go." He laughed at me.
"Always thinking of others." I smiled at him, "What kind of Surpent Princess would I be if I didn't." He laughed shaking his head. "Let's go inside." Fred said while lacing his fingers with mine.

When we walked in the kids looked at me with tears, "You made a safe haven for us where we aren't 'Bulldogs' or 'Surpents' where we are just teenagers." I smiled softly at them, "You guys need a childhood too look at me I was born, raised and pounded into for Surpents I want you guys to live your lives even if it is here for a night or five." I told them. They all group hugged Fred and I; "Well the fridge is full and we have a speaker system in each room so when dinner is done I will call." I smiled at them. They all ran i'm assuming to the game room. I went to the Kitchen Fred, FP and I made dinner. "Thank you Layla...Really." I looked from FP to Fred. "Look...i mean Really look at those kids. Between death, school, a murder and a bunch of bullshit that has gone on I think these kids deserve a break. They get the life I grew up with and I don't want them too. I have a split personalilty that kills people for a living to do the dirty work. One day I may lose that chance to become a mother, hence why I am keeping this baby and having a family, and falling in love. I wasn't always there for everyone, but I paid off their trailers even yours FP I am trying to make a better life for everyone. Not just me." I told them as I stopped cutting the veggies. They both smiled and went back to work.
=That Night=
Fred and I were laying in bed as the kids where down in the theater room watching the 2004 Punisher (Original Punisher movie best one in my opinion) while Fred and I where laying in bed with music playing in the background; "What you said today was pretty deep." I looked at Fred, "I just want them to have a better life. They will never be normal because it's Riverdale but I want them to feel free here where they don't have to worry about school though they will do homework...but they can put there diffrences aside and just get along." I snuggled into Fred who put his hand on my stomach. "And it gives us time to think and do things for the baby before they come." I nodded. I looked at Fred. "Thank you." I mumbled agianst his lips. "for what." "loving me." I mumbled again and kissed him.
