As the stars adorned the dark sky, my heart never felt more warm despite the night's cold breeze just by looking at you.
"Baby, I have a surprise for you."
You stopped looking at the sky and smiled at me.
"Hmm?"
I fiddled with the flat stick of plastic inside my coat's pocket thinking if you'd be happy or mad at us.
"Here."
I placed the test in front of you, I feared for your reaction.
I thank the heavens for having you with me when I saw how your face glowed much brighter than the full moon above us.
"I'm going to be a dad?! Oh my gosh."
Tears started to fall from your eyes, happy tears.
"Yes."
I chuckled as you got up from laying down and wrapped your arms around me.
"We will be the best parents ever. I love you."
"I love you too."
