Harry's P.O.V
Today was the day of the bidding. I didn't know whether Zayn was dead or alive. I just dropped him off at his house and lied him on the couch. I was scared if he was alive. Would he kill me? Who am I kidding? He will kill me. It 8:30 AM and the bidding was at 9:00 AM. So, I take a shower and put on clothes. I wake up Sarah and she does the same. "Harry, I'm scared." She says. "So am I.." I say. And I knew I shouldn't have said that because it would make her even more scared. But it was true, I was very scared about what was going to happen.
We arrive to the area. I park the car, and it's silent. "Whatever happens, just remember that I love you, okay?" I say. "Okay." She whispers. I kiss her slowly, and passionately. "You ready?" I ask when we pull away, she nods. We get out of the car, and I immediately see Zayn. I take a deep breath, knowing that this will most likely be my last time on Earth. I grab the small of Sarah's back, and lead her to Zayn. "Thanks for beating me up last night." He says. "I'm sorry, I just get angry when people touch what's mine." I gulp, hoping he will buy it. "I see. I taught you well." He smirks. He walks away, and I sigh a very long sigh of relief. "Are you going to ask him if I can stay with you?" Sarah asks. "Oh yeah. Stay here, I'll be right back." I say, she nods. I walk over to Zayn and take a deep breath. Here goes nothing. "Zayn, can I ask you something?" I say. "Sure." He says. "I was wondering, can I keep Sarah for myself, I'm kind of not done with her yet." I say. "You're not falling for her, are you?" He asks. "No! It's just, I love to torture her." I shrug. "Oh okay. Sure, you can keep her." He says shrugging. "Thank you." I swallow. I turn around and smile at Sarah. "Did he say yes?" She asks. "Yep!" I smile. "Oh my gosh! Yay!" She jumps on me, and I instantly push her away. "Not here babe." I whisper. "Oh yeah. Sorry, Harry." She says. "It's fine." I say. "Can we leave?" She asks. "As much as I want to, we can't." I sigh. "Oh." She says. "Yeah, let's take our seats. It's about to start." I say. I lead her to our seats and it starts with Zayn talking. "Welcome to the bidding. Our first girl is Angela Williams." He says. A girl who looks like she's about Sarah's age walks out very scared. She gets sold as soon as possible due to her beauty to a man that was sitting in front of us.
The last girl just got sold to the same man that got the first girl. "Come on, Sarah." I say. She stands up, and follows me to the car. We get in and she sighs. "What's wrong?" I ask. "I just feel so bad for them, you know?" She says. "Yeah, me too." I say. "But didn't you do those things, too?" She says.
~Flashback~
"P-Please let me go." Cassandra whined. "I don't think so, princess." I say. "Please! I'll give you anything you want! Just please let me go!" She cries. "NO!" I roared. She jumps and I smirk to myself. I turn my head for only one second to only turn around to see her gone. "CASSANDRA!" I screamed. I run around the house trying to find her. I know she went upstairs, but I don't know where she went. I walk into the bedroom and search in there and in the bathroom, opening the shower curtain quickly. She's not in there. I was just about to walk out, but then I remember the bed. How silly of me to not check under the bed. "You can't hide from me forever, Cassandra." I whisper. I kneel down and see her staring back at me in fear. "Found you." I smirk. I get up, and go to the side of the bed and grab her by the ankles and drag her out from under the bed. "PLEASE!" She screams. "SHUT UP!" I shout. I hover over her and tightly wrap my hands around her neck. Her eyes widen and she tries to call for help, but fails. Soon, her body goes limp and she's dead.
~End of flashback~
"Y-Yeah. Yeah I have." I whisper. "It's okay, Harry. You didn't know any better." She says. Actually, I did know better, but I didn't want to talk about that. My mother always told me that it wasn't right to hurt people. But then of course I turn around and betray her. Now, I'm dead to her. "Can we leave now?" She asks. "Yeah." I say softly. Her saying that I used to kill people made me feel disgusting. I know Sarah didn't mean to make me feel bad, but I felt terrible. Killing all those innocent people that had so much to live for. I should be ashamed. And I am. And I always will be...
