It was just normal for me to like someone. Why would they judge us base on our status? we can't even judge our relationship if you ask my own opinion.

(Aoi Akane X Akane Aoi)
"Ao-Chan! Let's check out the new milk tea shop! It will be my treat." Akane-Kun said to his crush.
The girl just respond a smile as she said - "Sure, I would like to taste what they have."
Akane-Kun was so happy that this time, she didn't reject his request towards to her. He always asked her out but it always turned out that Aoi-Chan doesn't like it so they still just remain friends.
Akane-Kun want their status more than that. Even though it's impossible. But, he was willing to protect the girl he likes and will always love her from afar.
The two of them entered the shop as most of the Kamome Academy students stare at them.
"No way, Aoi-Chan was supposed to be with Minamoto-Senpai. They're a perfect match for each other. Not to some nerd like him." One of them said. Akane-Kun knows that she said it on purpose.
He knows that his status was far different from hers. For the others, he was such an eyesore to be with the popular girl. And to the others who know his status in school, Aoi-Chan doesn't deserve him because he was matched to be with higher ups.
"SHH! That's the student council Vice President. Don't you know him?"
The girl just shut up as Akane-Kun sighed. Aoi-Chan can't help but to hold his hand. "Just, don't mind them Akane-Kun. Those were just words. Let's order our milktea now."
Akane-Kun ordered their favorite flavor, Raspberry drink with a vanilla toppings.
"I hope you enjoy the drink Ao-Chan" Akane-Kun as Aoi nodded in response.
"Thank you for being sweet, I like it. Thank you very much... Akane-Kun." Because of those words, Akane-Kun felt the warmth on his face as he smiled back.
Just friends... That's the only boundaries that they have. And he want to cross the line. Just a little bit to be with her.
And yet... He was so scared. That it was really impossible for them to be together.
"Ao-Chan, you know that I like you. Even if you reject me in many ways, as the time goes by. The future knows who'll be your lover." He was saying this as a member of the Seven Wonders... Not as a Vice President of their school.
"It is too early for us to judge the future. Let the time goes by and mind our challenges in life here in the present. After all, I'm not rushing myself to love someone. I'll keep waiting and that's a promise to myself." Aoi-Chan responded. But for unknown reason, her heart started to skip a beat. Saying those words to her childhood friend.
