Having my favourite ice cream with my favourite person was just a moment to live and love. However, the anxiety didn't leave me. Why did he ask about that man? How can I inquire more? He would doubt...

I honestly didn't want to tell my parents about that because.. I simply didn't want to mess things up! We were finally together!

"My dream is finally coming to life!" I said while holding his hand.

"It is," he showed a boxy smile which gave me a cheerful and joyful vibe.

[At Home]
"They are here honey," father said as he opened the door.

"Why were you late?" He asked.

"Ehh-.." I didn't know what to say but Taehyung replied instead, "we just stopped by a place."

"Please, have a seat," mother welcomed him.

V's POV
"What's your parents' name?"

"It's Kim Myung and Kim Jennie," I just said random names which came in my mind.

"Never heard about them. They are not here, right!? Where did they go?"

"Umm.. they went to my hometown, Daegu."

"Daegu, even I was from there," Mr Park, Y/N's father said.
'It's really you. I wasn't wrong then! The betrayal! Now that I have some documents, I will be able to blackmail Y/N and to make you confess!'

"I came here for a job and I'm living in an apartment for the moment. My house is actually under construction."

"Our.." Y/N smiled at me.

"You both are mature enough and I think the rest is up to you now. According to me, you both make such a great couple," her mother chuckled.

Y/N wrapped her arm around mine and leaned her head against it.
"There's something which I want to say... I want to get marry after building our house, Y/N."

"It's ok for me," she smiled.

"It would be better," her father said.

"Oh my! It's already 2 p.m and you guys haven't taken lunch yet. Come come!" Her mother said while inviting us in the dining room.

Once we stood up and walked toward the dining room, his father patted my shoulder and said, "welcome to the family. My diamond is now yours."

"She is a pearl in my eyes."

"I can feel that you will treat her better than me."

I only smirked.

"Say.. You live in Daegu.. did you come here on purpose?"

"Excuse me, I'm confused," I furrowed my brows a bit.

"Nothing. You remind me about someone. You somehow resemble him in fact but just ignored whatever I said."

'How can I ignore that!? You just assured me that it's really you.'

"Honey.. do you think that he is good for our daughter?" Your father asked your mother before going to sleep.

"Yeah. Why?"

"It's just-.."

"Because of Daegu?"

"Yeah. You know that I have bad memories there."

"But he seems to be such a good guy. Y/N told me about him a lot."

"But she is still a kid."

"She is 24 now. She is mature! Let her be.. I trust her."

"You're right. I'm worrying in vain."

"Yeah. I can't believe that she will get marry. She wanted to marry only Taehyung. She didn't even look at other boys. Her wish is now fulfilled. My only daughter." Your mother's eyes shone with tears while admiring the shining stars...
