18. DNA TEST

It was DNA test time, Arez and I found our way to the hospital with the children.

Our appointment was for 10:00am and we were here a little too early so we sat at the waiting room for like 20 minutes and Lord knows I couldn't wait anymore.

Just then, a nurse passed by us; "hey, excuse me" I called her.
"Yeah?" She answered, roaming her eyes over Arez. Stupid bitch.

"The doctor, can he see us now? We have a funeral to attend" I told her, then for the first time, she looked at me well.

"Oh my lord, I'm so sorry, I'll go ask if the doctor can see you now" she said and I nodded.

"If I may ask, who's funeral" she asked, now, this is the part I start to feel sorry for her. Like why do you want to know?

"Yours honey, maybe then, you'd keep your eyes in one place" I smiled sweetly at her. If looks could kill, I would've been dead and gone.

Just as she left, another nurse came and told us the doctor will see us.

"You're really something, aren't you?" Arez asked and I smiled.

We carried the girls to the examination room tor the tests.

"I'm not changing my decision about you and the girls if the test comes out positive or negative" Arez said from behind me.

"Why? You don't trust that you're their sperm donor?" I asked him and he gave a sad smile.

"Let's just get on with it, we'll see" he said and I nodded my head.

"Miss Davis, Mr Deyvis, welcome, I'm doctor Jonah and we're gonna start with the children" the doctor said.

"Okay girls, like I told you at home, the process is not painful, just close your eyes and when you open it, it'll be done" I told my girls and they nodded.

Sophianna though, she wasn't sure as she looked scared.

"Hey baby, what's wrong?" I asked her "I'm scawed mommy, is it gonna hurt?" She asked and I kissed her forehead.

"Just a little but that's it. I want you to be strong for mommy, you know, if you cry, your sisters will cry also and we don't what that right?" I asked and she nodded, then hugged me.

I pulled the rest of the girls in for the hug and told them it'll be okay.

The whole process took about an hour and finally, we've gotten the results. We decided to get ice creams for the girls and only open the results when we get home.

"So, are you ready?" I asked Arez and he nodded nervously.

I grabbed the results and opened it, and my face fell.

"What's wrong?" Arez asked

"See for yourself" I threw the results at him and stood up.

"I think I should go pack my bags" I added and he grabbed the paper immediately, he almost fell.

"It's positive!" He screamed.

"You fucking pranked me, are you insane?" He asked and I laughed.

"Oh you think it's funny?" He asked

Seeing that I was standing and I was a bit far from him, I started running.

"Come back here!" He yelled, I could tell that he was running after me.

I tried to run faster, keyword: tired.

He caught me before I could take one more step and I fell on top him.

"I was so scared" he said and I smiled lightly.

"Why? You said nothing was going to change so why were you scared?" I asked him.

"I just really want the kids to be mine" he said.

"Congratulations, they're yours" I said.

"And so are you" he said then he placed his soft lips on mine.

Kissing the living daylight out of me.
