Who?: Benny Weir

Relations?: Erica's cousin

Third Person POV

It's been three years since you started going to White Chapel High and each day seemed to have a new adventure. Your cousin, Erica, convinced you to move here for a fresh start since you two have always been close and you hated your own school anyway.

After a week of being there, you were already considered extremely popular, even though you were best friends with the biggest geeks of all: Ethan Morgan, Benny Weir, and Rory Keaner. You even became head cheerleader after Stephanie was taken down by the whole gang when everyone found out she was a witch. The only thing that bumped you out was that you felt so ordinary and plain compared to the three vampires, the seer, and the spell master in your friend group. You were nothing but... human.

Even though you were human, you still hoped that you had a bigger purpose than that. A purpose like you're friends who take on the supernatural world. Maybe there was a reason you were meant to be friends with them.

Maybe your powers just haven't been explored yet.

Today was like any other day to you: you had early morning cheer practice. Once you were done cheering, you went by your locker only to be greeted by your close friend, Benny.

"Hey there Y/N," he gave a playful smile. The type of smile he gets when he has something up his sleeve. "What are you up to now, Weir?"

He pretended to be offended. "Easy babe, can't I just say hi without being up to something?"

You roll your eyes playfully at the nickname. After years of him calling you that, you finally given up on telling him to stop. Instead of answering, you closer your locker and leaned against it, looking at him and crossing your arms. He grimaced. "Okay fine, I am up to something."

"Do tell," you say, heading down the hallway. Benny kept his pace up with yours.

"So I found a time traveling spell-"

"Nope. Wherever you were going with that sentence, I don't want to be apart of it."

He rolled his eyes and gently grabs your arm, stopping you from moving any further. "I think I can go into the future. Maybe I could find out if I end up with Della or not." He paused thoughtfully. "Can you come with?"

You shook your head. "No Benny. I'm not risking getting stuck in the future just to see if Della wants to date you. You're not the best at magic you know." You've always sort of had a crush on Benny, but you never explored those feelings; especially since he's always flirting with every other girl but you. You started walking off to leave him behind until he said something to stop you in your tracks.

"We can finally figure out if you have future powers or not."

You completely turned around and looked at him quietly before walking back to him. "Fine. But I swear if you get us stuck-"

"Don't worry, I already have Ethan for back up. If we're not back within two days, he'll alert my grandma." He reassured, giving a gentle smile. You bit your lip nervously, hugging your books tighter against your chest. "What if I don't like what the future is?" You whisper, looking down. You felt his finger under your chin as he tilted your face back up. "Don't let fear hold you back." He whispers back. You took a moment to look into his green blue eyes before nodding. "Okay, lets do this."

Benny's POV, five minutes prior

I rushed over to Ethan as he looks over a book in our school library. "I need a favor."

Ethan looked up from the book quietly. "If you're asking me to help you set up spy equipment in the cafeteria again, the answer is no. I got grounded for two weeks because of that." He looked at me with a frown. I sighed. "Not that kind of favor. I need you to be on the look out. I'm going to use a time traveling spell with Y/N."

Ethan's body froze slightly. "Benny why would you do something so stupid?"

"Because I need to know if we end up together or not," I sigh sadly, leaning against a book shelf. "I need to know if I actually have a chance with her." I look at Ethan with puppy eyes. Ethan groaned and closed the book. "Fine. I'll help you."

I grabbed Y/N's hand and pull her into the janitors closet. "Ready?"

She sighed. "Ready as I'll ever be."

I took a deep breath and tried to remember the spell, then continued to mumble it under my breath. The ground beneath us began to rumble, causing me to quickly hold Y/N against my chest tightly.

"Benny is this suppose to happen!?" She shouts, wrapping her arms around me. "I-I don't know!" I shrieked, getting worried. We both began screaming and I shut my eyes tightly.

Before I knew it, the shaking stopped completely and we both went silent. I slowly opened my eyes and looked around as Y/N pulled away from me. We stood in my living room.

"Great. You didn't teleport us to the future, you teleported us to your house." She said with annoyance. I frowned. "That doesn't make sense though. I said the spell correctly."

"You sure? You do mess up a lot.."

I gave her a look and she didn't finish her sentence. Another sigh leaves my lips. "Can you get my spell book from my room please? I left it here earlier." I slumped on the couch in defeat. She nods and headed upstairs.

Am I really that bad at magic that I can't say a simple spell? I screwed up and now I'll never find out if we were meant to be together or not. Oh how I wanted us to be soulmates. Something about her makes me so happy, even if she only sees me as a geek, and I just have this gut feeling that we were meant for each other. But now I'll never know if that feeling was real or just a fantasy.

I glanced around the living room and noticed some strange things. There's missing pictures of me when I was younger and were replaced with wedding pictures. There were nicely stacked women's magazines on the coffee table and a whole different set of curtains hanging up.

And that's when I heard keys starting to unlock the front door. I shot up quickly and bolted up the stairs, but stopped when I heard faintly familiar voices. Instead, I went out of eye sight and peaked towards the door.

"That was the best dinner I've had in a long time." A woman voice spoke, setting a set of keys on a key hook. The man's voice chuckled. "Are you saying that you don't like my cooking?"

I gasped quietly to myself. The man and woman is an older me... and an older Y/N.

"I wouldn't say I don't like it... it's just interesting to say the least." The older Y/N giggled. I watched as myself smile and pull her in by her waist, kissing her softly.

We did it. After all this time... we made it together. A smile presented itself on my face and made my heart beat faster.

They both pulled away and looked soulfully into each other's eyes. The love was there, there's no denying that.

"I'm pregnant." She spoke softly. Older Benny's face lit up with joy. "R-really? I'm going to be a dad?"

"Yes," she smiled, pulling him in for another hug. I watched as they embraced and felt my heart stop as Older Benny looked towards my way. He silently held a finger up to his lips, indicating to keep quiet, then nudged his head up towards the very top of the stairs with a smile on his lips. I smiled and gave an understood nod, rushing to find Y/N.

I ran into my old bedroom, it looking empty except for a bed and Y/N standing dumbfounded.

"Benny were you robbed or something?" She asked, looking at me. Instead of answering, I grabbed her hand and quickly said the spell, flashing us back into the janitors closet. "What's going on, Weir?" She looked at me with confusion. I just smiled at her and pressed my lips against hers.

Fortunately, she kissed back.
