*Pearl was awake in the kitchen making some toast since it was easy on her stomach*

Pearl: Mmmmm... Toast!

*Marina was sitting on the couch, wearing a long sleeve shirt and shorts that were her teal color. She also wore her signature headphones and was on her computer*

Pearl: *Sits next to Marina* Whatcha doing?

Marina: *Pulls down one side* making a beat for our next song.

Pearl: *Groans* but Rina... You need to sleep! You're already overworking yourself taking care of me. I don't want my octo babe to be sleep-deprived... remember last time?

Marina: *Chuckles* Yes I do Pearl.

*1 year prior*

Pearl was working on the rap portion of Nasty Majesty when she heard some slurred Octarian coming from the balcony. Pearl got up and saw Marina was leaning against the railing and was reaching toward the sky.

Pearl: *Giggles* what are you doing Rina?

Marina: Trying to touch the stars, I see a unicorn up there.

Pearl: Ok Mar, you need sleep... You've overworked yourself again, haven't you?

Marina: N-no! *Yawns* no.

Pearl: Uh-huh... Then what's with the yawn there?

Marina: Just stretching.

Pearl: Mm-hm! Sure... Come on babe, you're heading to bed. And I'll turn in as well to make sure you stay in bed.

Marina: But Pearlie... The leprechauns invited me to a party!!!

Pearl's thoughts: Yep, she's sleep-deprived. She's hallucinating.

Pearl: You need to sleep! You're seeing and hearing things!

Marina: I'm perfectly fine Pearl.

Pearl: Yeah... I'm not trusting that...

*Back to the present*

Marina: Oh yeah...

Pearl: And I don't want a repeat of that.

Marina: Understand Pearl. I'll sleep eventually.

*Pearl started eating her toast and Marina fiddled on her computer*

Marina: *Hums a random melody*

Pearl: *Mouth full* what's that? *Gulps*

Marina: Just some lyrics I'm writing for "Blazing Love Meteor".

Pearl: You're actually making that a song?

Marina: Yeah... Why wouldn't I?

Pearl: I meant it as a joke. I didn't think you'd take it seriously.

Marina: Yeah, when we did commentary for Arowana Mall.

Pearl: I'll super jump straight into your heart! Nothing could ever keep us apart!

Marina: Yeah, I think it works best as a rap.

Pearl: *Giggles* whatever works best for you dear.

*Pearl finished her toast and threw away the napkin*

Pearl: *Wipes off crumbs* Now that I'm done eating, you. Sleep. NOW! *Looks at the time* it's midnight babe... You need to sleep
