HARRY'S POV

I woke up to my front door opening and quick footsteps down the hallway towards my room. Emma opened the door and jumped onto the bed on top of me. She moved my hair out of my face, and smiled down at me, "You awake, sleepy head?" she asked

I chuckled, "Well I am now."

She got up and stood over me and clapped her hands, "Up, up, up!" she said, shaking my shoulder

I groaned, "Why are you in such a hurry? It's 6:30 in the morning!"

"We leave for our 'vacation' today." she said making air quotes around vacation, "Harry, we have a seven hour drive, so get moving!"

"Seven hours?! Where in the world are you taking me?!" I asked, sitting up

Emma grinned, "Well, Mr. Impatient, you'll just have to wait until we get there." I sighed and got out of bed. "Paul already carried your bags out and loaded the car. So get dressed and meet me out there. We'll get some breakfast on the way."

I chucked, "Yes, ma'am." I said as she turned and walked out the door. I opened up my closet and picked out a pair of jeans and a white tee. I pulled them on and stepped into my bathroom. I shook my hair out and swept it over to the side. There, I was ready.

I walked out to the car and got in the passenger seat of Emma's black Ford Fusion, which she had named Pheobe, and always insisted that "Pheobe" had feelings. "Okay, Pheobe." she said, patting the dashboard, "Let's hit the road!" she said. She pulled out of the driveway, and we were off.

EMMA'S POV

Harry picked his head up from the side of the door, "Where are we?" he grumbled sleepily

"You fell asleep about twenty minutes into the drive." I chuckled, "You've been sleeping for about an hour."

Harry rubbed his eyes. I heard his stomach growl. He groaned and rubbed  his belly, "Dear God, I'm starving." he said

"There's a Cracker Barrel on the next Exit." I said

"What's a Cracker Barrel?" he asked

"What?!" I asked in shock

Harry laughed, "What is it?"

"No. Don't tell me you've never been to Cracker Barrel."

"Um, I don't think I have."

"Oh my gosh, Harry." I sighed, "You've obviously never had real breakfast food." I said as I turned onto the Exit. I saw the familiar golden sign with the man sitting next to the barrel. I pulled into a spot and turned off the car. I turned to Harry, "Ready to experience the best food of your life?" I asked

Harry grinned, "I'm ready."

"Then let's do this thing!" I shouted, getting out of the car and skipping happily to the door.

I smiled when we walked through the front door. The old country decor felt so homey, it reminded me of all the times when I was little, when my family and I would come here. I walked up to the counter and was greeted with a warm smile from a young girl, "Good morning and welcome to Cracker Barrel! How many?"

"Two!" I said cheerfully

The girl grabbed two menus, "Right this way." she said, turning and walking through an archway. Harry's fingers locked with mine as she led us to our table. I felt eyes on us every step we took. I guess I should've been used to being stared at when I was out with my superstar boyfriend. But honestly, I don't think that was ever something I'd get used to.
