Nicki's Pov.

I turned over in bed and turn off my alarm clock for school. I got up and start making my way towards my bathroom. After taking well need hot shower I walked into my closet. While I was getting dress, I heard my mother yelling downstairs. She only yells for one or two things, my dead beat of sperm donor or my brother is home from overseas. And I'm really praying for the last one, because it is too early in the morning for all that bullying bullshit. Finally, after finding my black peplum dress, red wedges booties, and my silver hoop earnings. I walked back to my bathroom to apply a little make up as well as putting my hair into a messy bun. I'm not the type of girl to get all girly for school. I mean what's the point of getting all dress up for school, when you're not going to see those same people in twenty something years. Grabbing my book bag, my iPhone off the dresser, and made my way downstairs. As I walked into the kitchen I see that my mother was into a heated conversation with someone on the phone. ''You know what I have to go Anthony. I don't have time to argue with you, good bye." My mother said and hanged up the phone. I raised my eye brow as I watch her look frustrated. The sperm donor is the only person I know that can just get under my mother skin.

She turned and faced me looking a little frighten. "Nicki, you scared me."

"Sorry" I said while eating some of bacon she cooked off her plate.

"Shouldn't you being getting ready for school Nick?"

"I should but...I'm more interested in as to why the sperm donor is calling you this early in the morning."

"Don't get me started on him and I don't want to trouble you with he's shenanigans."

"Mom just tell me, I'm a big girl. I can handle things like an adult. I mean I am graduating tomorrow, so...yeah."

"How about this, you go to attend your last day of school and I'll deal with your father" She said.

"I'll do that, but just know when I get home today, this isn't over."

"Just because you're graduating doesn't mean you threaten me. I'm still your mother and I still beat your ass Nick."

"I known mommie and why would I threaten my loving mother? I've got nothing but love you baby." I said trying not smirk.

"Yeah, whatever" My mom said while putting her hand up.

I burst out laughing and walked to the front door. "Love you mom...I'll see you later"

"Love you too baby and drive safe."

I closed the front door and made my way over to my black Infiniti cope. As I'm driving to school, I couldn't help but think that today is my last day ever driving to this place. I've made a lot of memories in this one building. I may have not been the most popular girl in school, or played on any of athletic teams but I still made it to the end. Due to studying and concentrating on my academics I even earned myself two fifteen thousand dollars scholarships to any college of my choice. Life couldn't get any better than this. I park my car and make way into the building, as I'm walking down the hall; I notice everybody giving me looks. Brushing off their negativity, I continue to walk to first period. It doesn't surprise me that, I'm the first person to get to class. Just as the bell is about to ringing, my fellow classmates walk through the door. I see my best friend Amy, walk in and immediately she sits by me.
