1st night

I put the doll on the desk because there wasn't any room on any of the shelfs that the dolls were on. I put on my pajamas and I brushed my teeth. Before going to sleep, I played some games on my phone. My parents were still talking with grams. I heard my mom say," So what happened with my dad"?" He went to visit his brother in canada", my grams answered. Right after grams answered, I saw a light flash outside while the rain was pouring down. At the same time, the power went out. A few seconds later I heard thunder and my brother screaming. My parents rushed to his room. They asked him," What happened"?" I...I heard something scary", he said crying. "Oh don't worry, its just thunder. Do you want to sleep with daddy"? "Yes". "Ok go to mommy and daddy's room and dad will be there soon, ok sweetie". "Ok mommy, I love you". "I love you too, now go to daddy's room and I will sleep in your bed ok". "Ok". He went rushing to dad's room with a flash light and dad went a few minutes after. My mom and grandma were still talking to each other. They talked and talked. While they talked, I closed my eyes and fell into a deep sleep.
