I remember what happened, all from the start. My story, isn't like any other story you'll ever hear. It all started when I entered my moms mini van. My brother was desperate to go to grandma's house. It was 7:49 a.m. in the morning and there was a blood orange sun. All the clouds surrounding the sun made a soft cotton blanket to warm the sun up as it rised. "Ready to go on an adventure"? my dad said with delight. "YES"! my brother screamed. "We've got a long journey ahead", my mom commented. "It's only a half an hour drive", I said sarcastically. No one answered me, I felt like no one could hear me. Before my dad started the car, I could hear the sweet songs of the birds as they chirped. Then all the happy songs went away because my dad started the car.

"Were going on a road trip, were going on a road trip"! my brother sang. "Stop singing, it's annoying", I said. "NO". "Dad can you tell Steven to stop singing please"? "But sweety your brother is trying to have a little fun", he responded me. Then he started singing. They both sang, "Were going on a road trip, were going on a road trip, yay, yay, yay"! At that point i know that it was going to be a long car ride to grandma's. I imagined how she looks and of how I saw her 7 years ago. My mom said that she has glasses and blond hair. She sould be more spacific, don't you think?

I got out my phone from my backpack. I started texting my best friend Casey. I texted her, "Hey". After a few minutes she texted me, "What's up". I texted, "Going to gradma's, and what r u doing"? She texted, "Getting dressed to go to the mall with Nicky and Hailey. I was going to ask you to come, but i knew that you couldn't come". "It's ok. Were almost there, ttyl". "Bye". The reason why i told her that i had to leave was because my mom told me to get off of my phone and to enjoy the car ride with no electronics. So she took my phone away.

I looked out of the window, and all i saw was an endless plane of tall grass. I saw cows and chickens in a farm that we passed and and lot of trees. After a very long time of looking outside the window and eating snacks, my mom said,"We're here"! The car stopped and my dad came out of the car. I saw this old, dark house with a huge trees surrounding the house. Then i saw a little 5 foot tall woman come out the door of the house. My dad hugged the woman and then my brother came out of the car screaming grandma!!!! I picked up my backpack and headed out of the car. She saw me and said," And who is this lovely young lady". Then she hugged me. "Mother this is Charlotte", my mother told grandma. "Well you are very pretty Charlotte. I reamember you when you were just a little girl. Come in I need to show you your room".

She grabbed my wrist and took me to this small room with light pink walls and a light brown carpet. It had a white and light pink bed with an orange pillow shaped like a heart, a nice white desk with purple flowers, a nice wooden closet and 2 white bookshelfs, one with many books and one with dolls. "Do you like it? Your mother gave me all the stuff that you had when you were a little girl. All the books, dolls and all the furniture you had in your room when you were 5. Last weekend, I painted these walls light pink and filled your room with all your stuff. What do you think?" Asked grandma. "It looks very pretty grandma, but don't you think the bed is a little too small for me to sleep in?" I answered. "I'm sure that bed will fit you just fine. Well I have to go make some dinner"."Ok".

She went away in a flash and left me in my room. I looked at all of the dolls and thought that they were super creepy. There were 13 girl dolls and 5 boy dolls. One girl doll had green eyes, blond hair and a striped blue dress with a straw hat on her head. I looked at that doll for a very long time and I noticed that she was wearing makeup and gloves. She looked strang.
