I quickly opened my apartment door because it was a tiring day for me so I badly needed some rest. Kakagaling ko lang noon sa OJT ko when suddenly my cellphone rang, it was Mom. I answered the call and let her talked to me.
"Cath, kamusta naman ang aking.. " While she was talking to me, I noticed a red mail at the center table. Dahan-dahan akong lumapit dito because my Mom always wants the attention of whoever she's talking to.
"Catherine, nakikinig ka pa ba?"
"Yes, Mom"
I picked it up and saw what's written outside the mail.
"To the Cooper's"
If this is for the whole family, I'm sure baka meron din si Mom nito. So I asked her about this.
"Hey, Mom, did you recieve any mails lately?" I ask curiously.
As she was about to answer, I opened the mail and read it.
To the Cooper's,
You are all invited to a house party. Friday on 0617, Grand Boulevard, Payton Hills.

"So, sasama ka ba? " Mom asked me with an exciting tone. I understand, minsan na lang kasi kami magsama buong pamilya. Besides, I'm their only child kaya for sure, miss na miss nako ng mga 'to.
"Sure, Mom" I answered. After that talk, wala na talaga akong lakas para makapag-bihis at matulog. Dali-dali akong humiga sa kama at pinikit ang aking mga mata.
The next day, I woke up fine. Medyo masakit pa yung katawan ko pero kakayanin naman. The first thing I did well, just to surf the Internet.
Few hours later , Mom and Dad went in to my place. Hinintay nila ako to get ready and after that, we got in to the car and Dad started to drive na.
The car was filled with silence as I can here the tension of engine of the car. So, I just asked Mom kung meron siyang background about sa party na pupuntahan namin just to lighten the mood.
"Mom, kilala niyo ba ni Dad yung owner nung place?" As I finished the question, I saw Dad at the rear-view mirror looking on Mom.
"Uhm, Anak kasi---"
"Catherine, don't you know your Mom? Alam mo namang lagi yang padalos-dalos" Dad quickly stopped whatever the reason Mom would said. Lagi na lang silang ganito, buti na lang talaga wala na ako sa iisang bubong na kasama sila.
So they quarrel once again, I just plugged my earphones in just to unhear their worthless reasons. Lagi na lang ganito simula nang...
Bigla na lang bumagal ang lahat ng may isang malakas na puwersa ang nagmula sa likod ng sasakyan. I saw how Mom and Dad pushed by the unknown force. Bumilis na lang muli ang lahat matapos ang mga ilang minuto.
As I was in the state of shock, I barely saw Mom and Dad getting out of the car. My visions were blur and the only thing I heard was a loud pitch. And then suddenly, nandilim na lang ang lahat.
Reagan
Dad drove recklessly, yan tuloy nakabangga kami! Why do we need pumunta pa doon sa pagkalayu-layong lugar? Ngayon, nagaaway-away na at ala-alalay ko pa 'tong estrangherong' to. Pero kawawa siya, di niya kinaya yung lakas ng impact sa kanila ng kotse namin.
