Josh looked over at Maya as one of his friends were examining her.
Of course he wasn't going to take the chances that anything might have happened to her so for that she didn't have a choice.
"Looks fine. Just a bit frightened," he said and Josh nod.
"Thank you, Roger," Josh said as he went out of the apartment.
Josh sighed as he gave Maya a cup of tea before he sat down next to her.
She lightly looked at him before she put both her hands on the cup.
She took a deep breathe as Josh put his arm around her shoulders.
She want afraid nor scared which he was thankful for.
"How you feeling?" Josh asked.
"Shaky, but I'll be okay. Thank you, Josh," Maya said.
"No problem. I want you to come with me to Philadelphia. It's ridiculous that you have to work at eighteen. We'll figure it out later and don't even think about arguing with me," Josh said and Maya smiled.
"Okay. I could do with a vacation," Maya said.
"It's not a vacation, Maya. I'm going to try to help you. Please just except it," Josh said as Maya laid her head on his shoulder.
"I will," Maya said and Josh exhaled giving her a kiss against her head.
