There is a school, in the middle of no where, called The Sanctuary.
It's actually a really big house (like really big) and it's a place in the middle of a forest twenty miles from civilization. The Sanctuary is for delinquents.
"Young people who show a tendency to commit crimes, mostly minor crimes."
It's true. That's what they said the definition for me was.
My name is Reyanna Camp. My parents sent me here for a number of reasons. One is because my dad died and my mom remarried, and then my mom died and my step-dad remarried and so I wasn't really their kid. Besides that fact, I'm emo and they don't really know how to deal with me.
They also said I have anger issues, that I'm anorexic, and that I tried to kill someone, but I doubt any of that was true because if I did do/have any of that, I would know. I'm guessing they said that stuff to get rid of me and get on with their married lives, but who knows anymore? I sure don't.
I arrived to The Sanctuary at four in the afternoon, in a small blue car that drove the last twenty miles with no stopping. My step-parents dropped me off at the gate with all my stuff, said goodbye, then left. I doubt that I would even want to see them again, even if I could.
Taking a deep breath, I opened the gates and dragged my suitcase behind me into my new life.
