Falling

My mind was practically in another world after that stupid closet thing, sadly, classes were on the low today so nothing really stopped me from thinking about it

Oikawa's never like this..hell we barely talk unless we have to and those times are usually about joint practices for our teams

I suddenly remembered that he had called me pretty which was odd since I would've thought he hated me because I resemble Tobio so much

My thoughts get shut down by the lunch bell ringing

I grab my lunch and speed to the rooftop where I met Junko and Futaba, explaining everything to them

There was a moment of silence after I was done when the wind blew and I was staring out the distance, admiring the view 

Futaba finally spoke up-"That's insane-I mean the many years we've known him, he's always had this stupid smile on his face. I can't imagine how you must feel-OHMYGOD JUNKO STOP WITH THAT FACE" She said

I look over and see Junko, blank-faced holding her hands up as if she's praying to the gods 

I burst out laughing, my mood finally coming up since the situation

"Well whatever it is, we'll get him back for that. Also, those nicknames are gross and and he called you pretty! somebodies got a crush on Hanae~" She smirked before running away from me as I held my plastic knife in my hand

Our last 2 classes of the day had been called off since our teachers decided to give us a free day

I was one of the students with no classes but sadly Junko got caught up in her studies and wasn't gonna make it to practice today

I decided to head there early to warm up before the others came

Coach didn't tell us if we're having a joint practice, let's hope not after that awkward encounter with Oikawa 

I ran to the changerooms and pulled on my white and blue shorts and light blue volleyball club tee shirt. I grabbed my kneepads and slipped them on alongside my shoes

This is the best part of my day, nobody can ruin this for me, even Oikawa

SHIT I FORGOT A HAIR TIE AND THE OTHERS WON'T BE HERE FOR A WHILE UGH! 

I sigh loudly before exiting the changeroom and bumping into somebodies back, about to fall backward 

The muscular boy swiftly turns and grabs me by my waist before I fall, pushing me right up against him and placing a hand on my forehead to push my bangs off my face 

I open my eyes only to be centimeters away from a pair stormy cocoa ones

This grip is so familiar... because it's Oikawa's grip.

I'm in such a state of shock my face goes red and I'm speechless

"You were so much prettier without those things covering you.."He said while twirling my hair around one of his fingers 

He sighs before letting me go and removing his hand from my head

He shoots me a look before walking away

"See you at practice...princess" He says while sliding open the gym doors

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! WE HAVE A JOINT PRACTICE TODAY AND I JUST HAD MY SECOND WEIRD ENCOUNTER WITH HIM AHHHHHHHHHHHGHHHHHHHHHH! I mentally scream while grabbing a fistful of my hair angrily, I probably looked like an angry kid

I sigh.. practice is practice let's get this over with- 

I prayed someone else would be in the gym as well since I dreaded having to be alone with him one more time 

"IWA-CHAN WHAT THE HECK" a voice called
