Daniel and Nari's relationship was bound to be strained from the start. Not because of them, of course, but because of jealous and immature fans.
After the final ranks were revealed and the two of them were declared the centers of the group, their relationship really blossomed. They didn't interact a whole lot on the show until closer to the end. Immediately following the show, the duo started hanging out and bonding a lot more. Despite being younger, Daniel calls her "the big sister he's always wanted."
Things were going exceptionally well until solo stans started hating both of them, claiming there didn't need to be two centers or that one of them was jealous of the other. It became a popular narrative to throw Nari under the bus a lot of the time, much to both their dismay.
