Maybe this will work,
I put on my headphones on, blasting my music, my teacher doesn't notice, or if she does, she doesn't say anything. I check my watch.
It's 2:55, five more minutes, I hope no one asks about this,
four minutes, and,
"HEY!" someone screams in my ear,
"Arghh! What the hell, Kate?" I exclaim, putting my headphones around my neck.
"You didn't hear me, why are you blasting your music so loud in school anyways?" says Kate, a tad bit suspicious,
"Sorry, um, because, uh, " I apologise, struggling to find an excuse, "It's a new band, and I wanted to listen to it,"
"In school?"
"I read really good things about it, i wanted to hear what all the fuss was about!" I replied, defending my lame excuse,
"In school?"
"Yeah."
"Give me your headphones, I wanna listen," she says making out to grab them of my neck.
"NO! I'm not done yet!"
I try to move away from her, it doesn't work, she grabs it anyway.
"Hey! Give it back!" I'm trying to take them back, at this point at the back of my mind, I'm wondering why the teacher hasn't come up to us about the noise.
"Hey this isn't a new band, it's just another one of your lame bands!"
Dang it, Kate! Now how will I know if it works, it's almost time,
My watch beeps, it's 3 o'clock.
I make a feeble try to take my headphones from Kate, but all that does is lift one side off of her ear.
I make a mental sigh as everything turns fuzzy and I suddenly feel really sleepy,
I yawn and I hear Kate yawning beside me, the headphones still crooked on her head,
Everything turns black.
