This is my version of "The Covenant". It will be taken place in the same year the movie was initially released (2006) but there will be flashbacks. I don't know how many, I'm just making it up as I go. And there will be some plot changes.

Due to the persecution and brutal witch hunts in England and France, the (Y/l/n) family moved from Paris and left to Ipswich in the late 1690's. But this family is very different. Like the original families of the Ipswich five, the (Y/l/n)'s are well aware of "The Ascension". Not only do the first born males ascend, but every child in their family ascends both male and female. The males get their powers at 13 and ascend at 18, but the females get their powers at 12 and ascend at 16.
But there is a bit of a price when it comes to "The Ascension". Some members of the family are able to survive ascending, becoming strong and powerful witches and warlocks with no addiction to the power and no rapid aging when they use, being able to use both White and Black magic. But not all of them survive ascending, they become Hybrids. Half Witch, Half Vampire. The hybrids of the family have all of a vampires strengths and none of their weaknesses.
Meaning they will age like a normal human, until their 21st birthday.
While still being able to perform magic, their powers are as strong as the family members who survive their ascension. Everyone in the (Y/l/n) family is born with the vampire gene, it's just suppressed until the day you ascend. If you survive ascending, then the vampire gene is suppressed permanently letting you live out a normal life as a powerful witch or warlock. But if you die after you ascend, then the vampire gene brings you back to life in transition into becoming a hybrid.

• Enhanced Eyesight • Enhanced Hearing • Enhanced Healing • Enhanced Reflexes • Enhanced Hyper Awareness (More aware than the average witch or vampire)
Eyes (If you watch "The Vampire Diaries" then imagine the vampire veins going with the eyes and forget about the veins on the side)
