"Your my soulmate?"

The two looked at each other as they said it at the same time. Slightly confused at why the gods would do this. "Well looks likes I'm destined with a merman." Hoseok chuckled as he couldn't stop his heart from running a whole marathon. " Y-Yeah, and I'm destined to be with a human." Yoongi smiled, showing off his gummy smile as Hoseok found it incredibly cute. "I like your smile, I haven't seen one around like that in the village," Hoseok stated as he was taken back from Yoongi's smile.

Maybe the gods knew what they were doing. "Thank you, wait, are you into men?" Yoongi asked cautiously. Yoongi didn't want to grow feelings for someone who wasn't going to like them back. "To me it doesn't really matter who I'm destined with, man, woman, alien, or a merman like you. It might be too soon, since we just met but gosh your really cute."

"I'll take the compliment. What are you doing out here so late at night?" Yoongi asked. The two instantly connected with each other, talking as if they knew each other for a long time. "Well I can looking to see who I'm destined to be with, I just got my string today. Well last night since I woke up to it already on my finger." Yoongi blushed slightly as he also got his string last night too. "Well guess we found each other huh."

"Yeah. And what are you doing here?" Hoseok asked back to the merman who was laying on his stomach now, making himself comfortable on the large rock. "Well for the same reason, I came to look for my significant other and it led me to you."

"Ah I see, well, now that we're here. Let's share some things about each other. Sound good?" Hoseok stated as he smiled brightly. Yoongi couldn't help but stare and admire his smile, he found it cute when his lips turn into a heart shape. Was it really okay to fall in love with a human? I guess so, since the gods put them together.

"Yeah sounds good. So like I said my name is Min Yoongi. I'm a merman, and I was newly crowned as the new king of my kingdom." Hoseok was beyond surprised. Not only was he destined with a merman, but he was a king too?! "Wow, a merman and a king. Some lucky guy I could be huh. I'm just playing, but wow! Was your coronation going well?"

"It went well, I was a bit scared though. I didn't want to be crowned as the new king. I mean in my kingdom it's everyone's dream to be apart of the royal family, waiting to be crowned as a new ruler. But it wasn't my dream." Yoongi pointed out, as he rested his head on his hands, feelings kind of disappointed that he'll have to go back to the castle before sunrise. "Why wasn't it your dream?" Hoseok asked, he saw how Yoongi's expression changed from happy to upset real quick. "Because I wanted to be free, I want to leave the castle, I've spent my whole life there. It gets boring. But up here, well, just look at the view. It's amazing. The ocean is shimmering with the moonlight. There isn't any words I can describe this with. It's just so, breathtaking is all I can say. This is my first time coming to the shore. And I'm impressed."

"Well you should come here when the sun is setting, all the beautiful colors come out, maybe you can come tomorrow. I can meet you here tomorrow after work and we can both look at it. I always come here because well I love it here. It's where I come to clam down most of the time." Hoseok stared out into the ocean as he saw what Yoongi meant, the ocean was shimmering beautifully among the moonlight. "Work? What do you work in?" Yoongi now getting interested in the human's life. "Well I work at this little shop, a bakery, I would be the one collecting money and giving the people what they need. But sometimes when the children of the village come to visit me, I give them free pastries or treats. But really I pay for them. And my boss hates me for that. So I get kicked out a lot. I guess he hates me."

Yoongi furrowed his eyebrows, "Well he just doesn't see what you do for the kids, he's just a big mean old grump." The two laughed together as they were enjoying the time they're getting to know each other.
