Two weeks more had passed and the lone Uchiha continued to sleep. The medics are weary. The Hokage getting tense even more, and Danzo is beginning to carry out his plan- to get too close to murder the Uchiha himself.

His other council members are blind to his own sinister plans. It was through HIsuro that he gained information to the whereabouts of Itachi. The room where Itachi was kept at the hospital was unaccessuble to anyone not part of the Hokage's inner circle. This was a different matter requiring another spy. However, such spy is not at his disposal. Tsunade succeeded in hiding her tracks. Ensuring that only those close to her have this valuable information. He can count by his fingers just how many she trusted with it, even the blond jinchuriki is clueless to this, he is sure. But this does not mean that he has no backup plan. In fact, he has mobilized his most skilled army a week after some careful thought. Hisuro had done a great job and so far have not been discovered yet. But he cannot leave everything to chance. He has to make sure that his plan is flawless.

Shizune was rounding a corner from the maximum security room when her nose was covered by a cloth with a pungent chemical on it. Caught unaware, the senior medic was inable to fight back and immediately collapsed on the floor. The assailant carried her noiselessly passing the exit stairs, away from the hospital staff into a secret holding cell at the depths of the Foundation building.

Sakura went to the hospital an hour earlier. Finding nothing else to do, she decided to replace Shizune. When she entered the room, she was surprised that the brunnette wasn't there. "Senpai? Senpai..." She got out of the room into the nearby station and asked aeound for anyine who had seen her. Nobody had seen her. She went downstairs to the lab where Shizune stayed on her spare time but she wasn't there as well. She checked everywhere and even paged her name but there was no answer from her. She went back to Itachi's room to find the guards unconscious; a masked person trying to remove the tube from Itachi's body.

:W-what are you doing? Stop!" She grabbed for the man's arm but he turned towards her and used the momentum to try to punch her but she dodged, catching the man's hand on the process. "Who are you? Who sent you?!" She screamed.

"Ha! As if I would tell you!" He shot back.

"Where is Shizune?" She twisted the arm that she caught, causing the man to yelp in pain. He kicked backwards, hitting Sakura's right side. This angered the konoichi more. She delivered a punch towards his right hip making him stumble. She stepped in his back to further restrain him.

"Somebody! GET THE HOKAGE!" She shouted at the top of her voice. She used a one-hand seal that the Hokage taught her for situations such as this and slammed the seal at the back of the man's neck which was the only skin exposed from his overall suit. A commotion was heard and a few minutes later, she can hear her mentor's heels clicking on the tiled floor.

"Sakura, what happened here?"

"Shishou... they got Shizune. And this idiot tried to remove all the tubes in Uchiha-san's body." The Anbu rushed to the unconscious man's body and carried him out. Tsunade and Sakura rushed to the room where Itachi is still comatose. Tsunade arranged the tubes while Sakura was pushing healing chakra into his system.

"If anything happens to him I will not forgive myself !" she lamented.

"Shishou... we will take good care of him"
