Mizuko (POV)
Me and Michael went to the police station while Josephine stayed at the penthouse where my grandfather have reserved for us.
When we reached the police station we saw a certain detective who was also entering the building.
We went to the front desk and asked if there are any records of Seraphinas visiting or entering Japan 9 yrs ago.
"sigh"
I didn't get the answer I wanted but when a certain detective came out from a room, I was told to ask him since that detective has been working for a very long time. But the telephone ringed, the front desk manager pardon himself and answered the phone.
After the front desk manager answered the call, I was told that the detective will not be taking any appointments today since his schedule was full.
"sigh what a waste of time" I said but in a low voice to make sure they can't here what said.
I thanked the front desk manager and started walking to the exit with a cold frown followed by Michael who has no impression in his face as if he to was disappointed.

Location: penthouse
When we arrived I didn't say anything and just went to my room. I didn't eat dinner, I was too disappointed to eat or do anything. I just sat at my bed hugging my legs with my chin resting on my knees.
"gomenazai otōsan, okasan" I said then of drifted to sleep.
