Rafe watched as his eldest ordered the large group that had gathered at the designated spot, proud of his son for his calm authority.
Most of the women, elderly and children had remained back at their individual packs, naturally guarded well by strong members of each pack, making sure that nobody tried to attack the packs, while the Alphas and their back-ups were busy fighting the rebel group.
"Son...I would like to say something." Rafe spoke up, needing to say something of importance to his eldest, grabbing Leo by the arm, trying to gain his attention.
Leo frowned, "Dad, now is not the time...the time to make an appearance is fast approaching." Leo spoke out gruffly, "We will talk afterwards...okay?"
Rafe shook his head, sighing in defeat, gazing at his son directly, "Trust your wolf...!" Was the only thing he could say under the circumstances.
Leo frowned at his father's words, nodding his head slightly in affirmation, "I always do..." Was the only thing he could say, his mind already on the task ahead.
Leo stood in the clearing at the allocated time, Mason and Gabe on either side of him, the rest of the allied Alphas flanking behind them.
Most of the warriors from all packs stood in a line, while others stealthily moved around in the dark forest, circling the incoming rebel group, closing in and preparing to attack from behind.
A clapping hand broke the eerie silence, Leo's gaze instantly moving towards the noise, watching as two forms appeared before him, they too were being followed by a large group of rogue wolves.
Leo stood in his spot, a blank expression on his face, showing no outward emotion, while inside the rage within was building, "Where are they...?" He asked, his tone neutral, the moment that Griffin and his partner stood a few steps in front of them.
"Well...aren't you being rude." The female spoke, an evil smirk on her face, "No hello or how are you doing?"
Leo shrugged his shoulders, a bored expression on his face, not responding.
"Fine...!" She exclaimed, huffing in frustration, jerking her head slightly, "There is your precious mates..."
Mason and Gabe growled lowly, watching as their mates were brought forward.
Grace, Raven and Angel had their hands tied behind their backs, being forced to go down on their knees, a rogue on either side of them, a knife pressed to their throats.
"Are you ready to submit and bow down to us?" Griffin finally spoke up, a smirk on his face, "Or are you ready to watch your mates die..."
"Does this look like that I will ever bow down to either of you?" Leo asked, quirking his eyebrow, crossing his arms.
"Had to ask...!" Griffin spoke, shrugging his shoulders, unaware of the dangerous vibes coming from Leo.
Leo glanced at the crazy pair for a moment, his gaze then moving over to the tied up mates, seeing how both Raven and Angel stared at their mates with love and trust, whereas his mate looked down, not even giving him a glimpse on how she was feeling towards him, her mind and emotions, completely closed off.
"Trouble in paradise...?" The female spoke up amusingly, having noticed the silent battle going on between Leo and his mate, "Don't worry...submit to us and she is free to go, then you can take your time and make it up to her."
"Or we just could fuck her into submission for you, if all of you get down on your fucking knees and declare us as your king and queen," Griffin threatened, having gotten bored of the stand still, wanting action and bloodshed.
Ready to give out the order to his followers, ordering them to start with the captured mates, wanting to see the women suffer and wanting to see how Leo and his gang dealt with seeing the females being brutally tortured before their eyes.
