Yoongi expected Woohyun to be standing there in the doors frame with a shocked expression.
What he didn't expect though, was for the girl who had started this whole mess to be standing there with a brown paper bag full of bread balanced on her hip.
"What the fuc-"
"Jiwoo!" Hoseok cried, rushing out from behind Yoongi and towards her, dragging her into the apartment, his smile bright though tearful, reaching his eyes as he dragged them both further into the apartment, relief flooding his features like a broken damn. "Jiwoo he's here...he came back." Hoseok whispered, his eyes meeting Yoongi's with so much fond adoration it made Yoongi's toes curl with the tenderness of the moment.
"I see that." Jiwoo's eyes were wide, unbelieving as she started at Yoongi as if he wasn't real, setting down the paper bag.
Yoongi broke his gaze from Hoseok briefly, only to stand as a physical barrier between Jiwoo and Hoseok, eyes narrowed towards the woman, "Hoseok get behind me. This woman is the one who started everything." Yoongi sneered, "She's the one who manipulated me into a kiss that night at the party."
Jiwoo scuffed, crossing her arms, "I see your boyfriend still has an attitude, Hoseok-ah."
"You want to talk to me about my attitude-" Yoongi started, growing angry that not only Woohyun, but this woman was terrorizing his Hoseok as well. It made his stomach turn.
Hoseok's arms were coming around Yoongi as he giggled, "Hyungie! No, Jiwoo is cool. She didn't know, she thought she was helping me back then. Woohyun manipulated the truth, she said she wouldn't have done that if she would have known."
"Yeah, you're definitely not my type either. You're too alpha for me, I like a more submissive boy." Jiwoo shrugged, her smug expression falling to one that was more gentle, more meaningful, "But, yeah. Just like Hoseok-ah said, I didn't know what Woohyun was doing at the time. I thought I was helping Hoseok-ah get out of a toxic relationship instead of getting back into one. I guess I should have seen the signs earlier but...yeah. I'm sorry."
Yoongi's gaze was still hard on Jiwoo, holding Hoseok close, Hoseok shook his head, reaching out a hand to rest comfortingly on Jiwoo's shoulder, "Don't be sorry, you didn't know Jiwoo. It's not your fault."
"But how do I know I can trust you?" Yoongi brought his hand tighter around Hoseok's waist, protective.
"Hyungie, I trust her." Hoseok spoke confidently, his gaze leaving no room for doubt, "She's given me no reason not to for the past three months, she's saved me more times then I can count." Hoseok looked back towards Jiwoo as the woman moved to gently take Hoseok's hand in her own, giving a gentle and comforting squeeze. "I don't even want to think about what would have happened if Jiwoo wasn't here."
"You...you saved him?" Yoongi asked suddenly, eyes wide and drawn onto Jiwoo.
"I didn't do anything." Jiwoo shook her head, wrapping an arm around Hoseok's shoulders, pressing a gentle kiss to the boys hair, "All I did was stop things from happening, as much as I could. Woohyun knows he can't overpower me, so I tried to never leave Hoseok-ah's side if I could help it. He's the strong one."
"I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you Jiwoo." Hoseok shook his head, a small, grateful smile, "You did save me."
"Then, you've earned my trust and utmost gratitude, Jiwoo." Yoongi spoke then, bending down to bow in respect.
"H-hyung..." Hoseok stuttered, shocked by Yoongi's sudden gesture.
Jiwoo smirked, "You've got him whipped Hoseok-ah. And glad to know I have your trust, Yoongi. And I hate to ruin this whole reunion thing, but I'm guessing that you want to head back home and with Hoseok?"
