" Hana I think that's the last of it. If you're looking to get there before sundown I say do it now or you're doomed! "
" Okay, uh- just a second I wanna say goodbye to the house. "
I walk up to the wall and give it a big hug.
" Ah- You're so strange, just like your mother. You know having feelings for everything will get you hurt sometimes remember that for when i'm gone if anything! "
Dad never really had the most optimistic view of life. This move will be a change for me, and as much as I'd like to say I have my big girl pants on right now i'm a little nervous to move away from home like this.
A few months ago I got this really great opportunity to intern at one of the top culinary schools in Korea, however that requires me to move to a huge city and leave my father behind. My dad says do what is best for yourself but I am a complete wreck right now.
" Okay we can leave now "
Grabbing my bags I take a deep sigh and head over to the door.
" Hey, don't worry Taeyong knows the place! He's lived there for sometime, he'll take good care of you I promise remember when you guys were so young and you'd fight over everything. " He says as we're making our way to the car.
" I will never in a million years forget about that strawberry jam incident!" He looks at me and smirks the most devilish grin.
All my life I've never once been to a family outing where someone doesn't bring up Taeyong and I's strawberry jam incident.
" Okay, we haven't even gotten on the road yet. I don't know how I can deal with you for two hours! "
Taeyong isn't my brother or even family but I truly consider him family. My mother died when I was very young, I have no memory of her but the stories and pictures I've received throughout the years. Taeyong was a neighbor of ours for quite sometime up until he turned seventeen and moved to Seoul with his family. Our moms were close and apparently were great friends. Taeyong and I were close but since he moved, and has found his own passion in the music industry we haven't really had the time to talk.
I guess you could say we've grown apart over the years.Taeyong has always been driven through music. I can always remember sitting with him on the piano bench and listening to his soft playing all throughout the day, but since hes moved we havent got the chance to really catch up on life.
He's busy most of the time and has big concerts and fan meetings to do- ah it's so weird even thinking about this..... to some people he's their everything but for me he's just my cool friend Taeyong. About one year ago I got the chance to go to Seoul and see how he was doing. He looked amazing and he got a true idol makeover, he really does look like an idol and he's got the talent to back it up. I'm just nervous to see how he's doing, it feels like I haven't seen him in forever.
Dad and I are driving further and further away from all I've ever known. This will be a good change, It's going to be good!
