Chapter 9

John's POV

"Dear Diary or whatever
A few months or so have gone by since the day I met Alex. I've really seen his personality blossom.. But, after his recent business trip, he was an actual dick.

Anyway, Peggy got a new cat and she doesn't like me at all."

The Week Before...

"Get her off me!" I cry out as Peggy's kitten was latched onto my hair. Peggy stood there, laughing her ass off. That bitch. "Margarita!" I yell loudly.

Peggy grabs the kitten and held her tightly, "Jackie is so mean, isn't he, Lemon?" She cooed, baby talking her kitten. I scuff softly and rolled my eyes. "You just love Jackie's hair so much." She pets Lemon's belly, "Even though it's dead."

I run my fingers through my hair, "You bleach and dye your hair and it's automatically dead." I frown, jokingly.

"That's how it works, dork." Peggy giggles, patting my head. She sets Lemon down on the floor, "Don't scratch anything, Lemmy." She said sweetly.

I seriously don't understand how her parents let her get another cat. She already has 5 not including Lemon. I seriously question her parents' parenting sometimes. Welp, better than my parents' still.

Peggy grabs me and pulls me onto her bed with her. "Now, Johnathon," She started. I dunno why she even calls me that. My name isn't Johnathon. It's just John. "How is Alex?" She finished. Normally we don't talk about Alexander that much anymore so I was a bit surprised.

I was silent for a moment. I look at her, thinking, "I think he's alright."

Alexander has been out of town though so I have the mansion to myself. Other than the work staff there. Maria and I normally hang out and play video games when she finished her work. Sometimes Peggy would come over with Lemon. Maria absolutely adores Lemon. I don't think Alexander knows that a cat has been inside his house.

"Does Alexander still hate cats?" Peggy asks, looking at her cats. Alexander hates cats with a passion which upsets Peggy, me, and any cat owner ever. I nod gently, "That sucks. They better clean that place or you're in troubleeeee."

I raise an eyebrow, "Escuse me? It's your cat." I huff out gently.

"It's your boyfriend's house." She winks playfully. I look at her, disgusted.

"He is not my boyfriend." I cross my arms over my chest, scuffing softly. "I don't like him like that. He's just a sugar daddy." I lie because I know I have feelings for the man.

Peggy gasps dramatically, "So you're using him for his money!?" I stare at her, blankly.

"YES! He's a sugar daddy. I literally have to use him for his money." I shrug slightly, not noticing the blush form on my cheeks until Peggy should be with her handheld mirror. "It's hot!" I try my best to cover it up and yet Peggy believed me.

"Oh! Why didn't you say something! Take that sweatshirt off then," she says gently, rolling her eyes a bit.

"No! I'll be nakey then!" I hug myself tightly before quickly taking it off after seeing Peggy's glare. I had a white tanktop on so I guess it's okay.

Yes, even though Peggy and I have been bestfriends for years I have never been shirtless around her. Even in a pool or lake or whatever we swam in, I'd have a shirt on. I have small nipples, okay?

I felt my phone ding. I look down seeing a message from Alexander saying that he will be home tonight. It was nice having a mansion to myself but I miss him.

Present Day...

Alexander has decided to do a house surveillance. That means he goes around and exams the house. He exams how clean each room is. Asks everyone what has been happening and to see their work times. Which is basically the time they start and finish everything. He only does these once a month though.

I stand behind Alexander who looked disappointed. He shakes his head slightly. "Maria!" He called in. I stood there in shock. I saw Maria walk in. Her smile immediately fell off her face when she saw Alexander's face. "Explain this to me. Why is there nothing here?" He shows her the work times that. Maria stood there, not knowing what to say. "Answer me, damnit!" He snaps which caused Maria to flinch back.

"I-I forgot, s-sir.." She stutters out. I've never seen Maria like this before.

I watched as Alexander shakes his head, "You've been working for me for how long? 4 years, Maria. Since you were 15. You don't just forget something that you've been doing daily for years. You got lazy. I am extremely disappointed in you."

Maria nods, wiping away tears, "Sir.. With all due respect, there was nothing for me to d-" before Maria could finish that sentence, Alexander was already yelling.

"NOTHING!? HOW ABOUT MAKING SURE EVERYONE DOES THERE JOB CORRECTLY? MAKING SURE THAT JOHN WAS HAPPY!" Maria and I, both, widen our eyes. I honestly had enough of Alexander yelling at Maria. It was shitty of him.

"Just shut up, Alexander!" I yell out, hugging Maria tightly. Alexander was shocked beyond belief, "Maria has been the hardest and bestest worker you've ever have had! She's worked 4 years for you without having 1 month off- in total! She deserved this small break. It is not her being 'Lazy'! It is you being a selfish cocksucker!" I finished. To be honest, I was extremely proud of myself.

Alexander stood there in disbelief. "Get out." Maria's eyes began watering again and I gasps softly, "Both of you. You're never welcomed here again!"

I pull Maria out of the room before she began begging, "No. He'll see how much in needs you and will crawl back to you in no time. Right now, you're basically on a break," I said, rubbing her back. She couldn't say anything without choking so she just nods.

I took Maria over to Peggy's and told her what happened. Peggy was furious. I literally had to lay on Peggy so she wouldn't scream at Alexander over to phone.

I don't need him. I can make money on my own. Maria can find a better person to work for. Everything will turn out perfect.

Sadly this is not and probably will never be the case

I apologize if the next chapter is another wait. I don't plan these out. I write when I get inspired or remember.
Also, please give me new ideas for this story or maybe a new one? I'm thinking about making an OC story. I dunno yet. Will I ever finish a story? Hell no but oh well 😌👊
