Hey, guys! How are you all doing?

Have you watched the latest TNTL with Flula? It's probably one of their best TNTL episodes yet. Sophisti-caveman is Shayne's new awesome bit! Go check it out, woop woop.

Also, I'll be having a new story out maybe halfway through this book, and I just made the cover! Go check it out up there in the media section of this chapter. Maybe May 2020? Who knows, right?

Anyway, let's proceed with the story, shall we? See ya!

"So you mean to say," Ian begins, "you two died. Separate times, separate places, but you both end up in this six-area train station called the Middle, which is technically a purgatory."

"The purgatory itself, yes," Alex says.

Damien continues, "You two escaped the Middle on the only train that takes souls from Earth to the Middle because this group of Judges told her to get the Glitch, in this case Shayne, and get them back to their rightful places as judges of the afterlife, positioned in the seventh station of the Middle, but when you went there, no one was there, so you decided to go back to Earth."

We nod as Courtney finishes, "And when you went back to Earth, you blew up the train because the Afterlife Committee would follow you on that train and catch you as... as criminals of life and death. But you didn't know you would be alive again, so you decided to see us."

"Bingo," I say. "Uh, do you have any questions? Alex has been in the afterlife slightly longer than I have, like a few minutes more, so maybe you guys have questions?"

Ian raises his hand. "Can we know about you?" he asks, pointing to Alex. "I mean, we can easily believe Shayne, but I'm not one to believe her."

Alex gets her wallet and tosses it to Ian. "Atty. Alexandra Leia McConnell," she starts enumerating details about herself as Ian flips through her IDs. "28 years old, February 9, 1992, 47th and Amsterdam, New York. Human rights lawyer for International Help, and..." She glances at me. "My birthplace is Phoenix, Arizona."

"No way!" I exclaim. "Maybe that's why you and I connected real quick. I mean, aside from when you literally told me I was your favorite pizza place."

"I was quoting you," she clarifies.

"You watch Smosh?" Ian asks. "Nice."

"Oh, no, she doesn't," I explain. "She used to handle this kid who watches Smosh."

"You remembered that?" she says to me, and I could see a hint of a smile on her face.

"Well, you're the only person I've been with for the past few days, so yeah," I reply, and she nods before facing away. "Anyway, she told you the whole truth now, so... do you guys trust her enough not to tell anyone about this?"

Courtney raises her hand this time. "Do you have any proof that can make us believe you guys came back from the dead?"

I take the gun from the counter before handing it to Alex, who aims it at one of the plastic vases I had. "She's a better shot," I say, and when she pulls the trigger, the bullet hits the vase and it vanishes.

"Woah," the three chorus.

"Do it again," Damien says.

"We only have around ten bullets left and we're technically criminals right now, so no," Alex says, putting the gun back on the counter. "I stole that from one of the guards in the Middle."

"Well, you do know that you can't go back to your normal life again, right?" Ian asks me. "I mean, the whole world already knows you're dead. We can't bring you back to life or pretend you faked your death on Smosh. And now, you can't book gigs or something."
