I didn't let the incidents from yesterday bring down my mood today.
Waking up to a sunny start, the sky was clear and birds were chirping.  Almost as if the morning came straight out of a disney movie. I reached over to my side to feel warmth from James but all I felt were cold empty sheets. Oh. Right.
Although that dampened my spirits a bit, I managed to get up and not look like someone who's just had a breakup. Brushed my teeth, washed my face, had a whole hearty breakfast. Seemed all set to me.
Deciding to take my time and not get ahead of myself, I carefully picked out what to wear. Since really, it had to be perfect. This was it. I was going to get Zayn back and nothing could stop me.
Wearing my trademark plaid shirt, my favourite pair of jeans, and some white converse I was all ready to go.
Well the only thing was I had no bloody idea of what I was actually going to do.
Maybe I'd end up making a fool of myself and Zayn would never talk to me again.
Or I'll just say something incredibly stupid making Zayn ponder about his choices in life.
Whatever was going to happen, there was no going back now because I was standing right outside his apartment door.
Taking a few breaths and wishing myself luck, I rapped on the door. Almost instantly as if he was waiting for me, the door opened.
He looked me up and down, making me squirm a bit. Then he raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms over his chest. ''What'r'e ya doin' here?''
''Oh. Um, right. What I was doing here?'' I looked down and realized I was holding some flowers that I'd nearly strangled to death. I flung the out toward him. ''Here. This are for you.''
He laughed, and it wasn't one of those half-hearted chuckles, but he full out laughed. A huge smile on his face, crinkles at the end of his eyes. Which cause heat to coil at the pit of my stomach. ''Why thank you.'' He smiled again and I barely got out, ''I love you.''
His eyes didn't widen; no expression really. His smile faded and he looked down, fiddling with the flowers.
He didn't say anything for a while which was quite fulfilling since I myself didn't know what I expected to hear. Atleast it wasn't a thanks.
''I can't do this.'' He finally croaked out, quickly closing the door behind him. I heard him run off into his room, knocking a few things on the way.
And there I was, stupid as ever, standing like an idiot infront of his door.
Not yet discouraged, I merely walked away confused but determined to get him back another day.
