''Someone is always our never ending thought.

We always have a tendency to forgive people

who were never really, actually sorry for us.

They are called dangerous obsessions

and frankly, they are inescapable.

Because even if we act fine,

deep inside we are still broken...''.

Trapped between the pages of his own novel, Jeon Jungkook slept on the surface of his mahogany desk. His fists were still curled, his phone still in his palm as if he was expecting someone to call him.

And he indeed expected someone.

Because deep inside, in the deepest abyss of his soul, Jungkook wanted Jimin to give him a call. Even if he couldn't believe the whole situation he got himself into, the twenty three year old had a certain interest on the blond. Not just because he wanted to explore his demeanor and the way he acts but due to the fact that if this whole thing was true, Jeon Jungkook could actually control Park Jimin's entire life.

But yesterday the raven haired was so tired, so exhausted from trying to understand what the hell was going on that he forgot to activate his alarm clock. Thankfully, a phone call woke him up from his sleep.

Jungkook slowly opened his eyes, blinking multiple times in an attempt to adjust to the sunlight that was pervading the curtains. Rubbing his drowsy irises with the sleeves of his shirt, he automatically lifted his hand, only to see an unknown number. Having forgotten the last sentence he had written yesterday night, Jungkook answered the call with a raspy, hoarse ''hello''.

''Jungkook...This is Jimin... Umm, hi'' the mellow voice mumbled from the other line. Jungkook jumped from his seat, almost losing his phone from his grip but he managed to regain his composure quickly. Trying to soften his voice, he placed the device back on his ear, his eyes slightly getting a glimpse of the time. It was one o' clock, just like he had written.
