I sat there looking at the plate were my pasta use to remain. I looked left to right , wondering how my parents will react and how his parents would. After we all disgusted our dinner, Daniel stood ready to get everyone's attention about this news.
"Renee and I are back together .. Hoping to raise a family and to take care of Clare", Daniel said looking straight in my direction.
"Start a family? You freaking rapped her you forced her to be in this predicament !", My dad nearly yelled.
"Really? Dad! Where were you my first 13 almost 14 years of life? Oh yeah you didn't give a shit about me!", I yelled.
"Renee calm down..", my mom said trying to make me cool off.
"No ! No! You know what if your not happy for me so be it ! I don't care and I'm done trying to please you.. I remember the time I asked you could I spend the night at your house.. You know what your response was..? HUH? "I can't I have to work .. I promise this weekend.." You never let me spend the night at your house! Before you try to effect my life.. Actually be in it!", I yelled at the top of my lungs as I looked at him disgusted and walked out the restaurant and walked the long distances back to the parking garage.
