As someone who is slowly going blind the best advice I can give is to enjoy the little moments,
The way the sea glistens like broken glass,
The way morning dew clings to grass,
How both the dew and the ocean were in his eyes the first time you kissed.

Never forget the way the waves parted for your skimming fingers,
Nor the droplets that caressed your skin,
The same way your lips parted for him, hands running through hair.

Always remember waterfall trickles,
And butterfly wing flickers,
The same way tears fall and eye lashes flutter.

Because one day I'm not going to be able to see these things,
So I've got to enjoy them whilst they last and rehearse the memories,
Because I can't lose this, not when all I have left, are the memories.
