Chapter 19

Adrian's P.O.V.

As Ben leave's to his office. I get this spark in my hands, I look down and I see my hands glowing a fiery red.

"Adrian, dear are you alright? your eyes are glowing red" Karen said.

I run right into the bathroom. My wolf is going crazy, clawing to get out, but I push him back down and look in the mirror. Karen was right, my eyes are glowing red.

Beads of sweat run down my face, I start panting, I feel hot. My feet have a mind of Its own and I start running down the stairs. I hear everyone shouting, but I could care less.

I'm out the door in seconds, I lose the restrains I have on my wolf and let him take over.

I shift and everyone is gaping at me. I mind link Sophie and ask her why everyone is gaping.

'Sophie why is everyone gaping at me?' I mind link her.

'Adrain your wolf. Your huge, your bigger than normal alphas.' She says back with shock in her voice.

'What's wrong with my wolf?' I mind link back.

'Your wolf, it's red and you have light blue eyes, your like the last red wolf in the world.' She mind links back.

I shift back but I'm not naked like how I use to be. I'm in my regular clothes. I have a confused face on.

What just happened?

So many questions are flowing in my head.

Why am I a red wolf? there wasn't one in decades.

Karen came up to me and said, "you are now more powerful than any other alpha. Since you are mates with our daughter," she points at herself and Jorge, "you will together be powerful and protect all you love and all who deserve to be protected."

I start to hear a voice in my head and I call out to it.

"Hello..... who's there?"

"Adrian if you can hear me, I don't know where I am and I'm scared please come and get me I don't know what they're gonna do to me or how long I'm gonna be here, but if I die I want you to know that," my beautiful mates breath hitched. "I love you." She said in a whisper.

S-she l-loves me?

Oh how I miss her. Her smile that can light up any dark room, her laughter that rings like bells, just her herself is amazing to have.

I love her too, but she isn't here for me to say it. I really need her.

She will not die!

If, by any chance I can't make it to her I know she is strong enough to defeat them.

I bet I know who took her. Hunters.

Those hunters always think they're clever. I walk back into the royals house and told them that Melissa mind linked me.

"Did you try responding back? Did she say anything else?" Daniel asks.

"Yes and no. She didn't respond back. " I replied.

He doesn't say anything back and continues walking back and forth.

"Dude, you need to chill. We'll get her back." Alex says, putting a hand on his brothers shoulder.

Its been a few hours and I still don't have my mate with me, in my arms.

My pack is here and we are in the conference room.

"Okay. So, we are all here to discuss the missing of my little sister, Melissa, as she had been taken." Ben starts off. "Anyone have an idea of who must've taken her?"

"I think I know who did. Hunters." I said.

"Obviously. Who other than hunters would take an innocent person? Exactly! They would obviously take her because she is a royal." Daniel exclaimed.

I felt a pain in my chest. I got up and told them I needed to go out for a breath.

I left the room and went outside to the porch and sat on a chair.

The air was fresh and the sun was shining.

What was happening?

I felt warm and was sweating. I heaved in a breath through my nose and let it out through my mouth.

I was still sweating and felt super hot. I really don't know what's going on.

I start to calm down a bit after a few minutes. I'm no longer feeling hot.

Just then my phone started to ring. I got it out of my pocket and answered it.

"Hello?" I said.

"Adrian! Hey! It's Melissa." My mates voice said. I sit up on the chair and get up.

"Oh my god. Melissa your okay. Where are you?" I say.

"I'm not sure, but I'm at this gas station." She says with uncertainty.

I ask her which gas station and she tells me the name of it. I tell her that I know where it is and tell her to wait for me.

I go into the conference room and everyone looks at me.

"I know where she is."
