"I'm sorry to inform you Mr.Nakamoto but Nara lost her baby."
Those words coming out from the doctor's mouth were enough to shake me to the core. I was baffled, unable to decipher what the doctor was telling me.
"B-baby?"
"Yes, Nara didn't want to let you know but she was 11 weeks pregnant with your child." The doctor told me, "If you'd come to my office, I'll explain everything to you?" She said gesturing to her cabin.
I nodded and followed the doctor to her cabin like a lost child. I catatonically took a seat in front of the doctor, looking at my dazed demeanour, she offered me a glass of water.
I gladly accepted the glass and drank the water and composed myself a little before facing the doctor again, "H-how did it happen?" My voice came out so low, barely even a croak.
She sighed and placed a paper in front of me, "Nara was close to her third month and the first 12 weeks is where a woman is more prone to miscarriages. Since she got to know about her pregnancy on her second month, her miscarriage happened due to the things she unknowingly did on her first month. Alcohol, caffeine and majorly stress." She explained carefully.
