"I got the apartment cleaned by the way." He said as he drove his black car to the apartment, our apartment.
I wasn't really paying attention to what he was saying, rather I wasn't paying attention to anything around me. Series of thoughts were playing in my head, hard to decipher I'd say. I was here again, giving Yuta an another chance, giving my life an another chance, would it be worth the pain?
Yuta sighed as he took my hand and intertwined it with his free hand while the other was on the steering wheel, "You're zoning out again? Are you comfortable enough?" His voice came out as soft as possible, his thumb was gently making patterns on my wrist which was indeed calming.
"Mhmm I'm okay." I muttered and went back to staring outside the window. Yuta, evidently didn't look satisfied with the answer. He just showed a thin smile and his eyes diverted back to the road.
I took a brief glance at him, with his gaze focused on the road, slightly tensed jaw, he sure did look subtly attractive. The old Nara would've caressed his face like he was only for her but a huge part inside me forbade me from doing so.
