Arc 2.3:

Both of them walked to a nearby village and rented an inn.

Eryk sat on the chair and looked at Rie signalling to sit and continue.

Rie: "Prince, did you notice the skills of those 6 killers were not ordinary but then again their skills were at the beginner's level."
Eryk: "What do you mean?"
Rie: "Prince did you noticed their clothing? They had a braided red ribbon tied to their arms meaning they are the newly appointed killers."
Eryk: "How did you know?"
Rie: "Prince I think you don't know about the Blood sect right?"

Eryk nods and then looks at her signalling to continue.
Rie: "Prince Blood sect is one of the top 5 Assassin Organization from The Willow Tribe of the West."
This sentence made him shocked and only now did he realize that all his life what he achieved so far whether politically or practically, was, only the tip of the iceberg.

Eryk: "How did you know so much?"
Rie: "Prince my brother Adrian taught me the basic just in case. Prince my brother was granted the title of the Duke at a very young age, there are many dark ways others want to pull down our family. How do you think my brother survived so far?"
Eryk: "No wonder. No wonder he has no interest in such small accomplishments."

He sighed and remembered the day when he asked him to partake in the swordsmen competition and he looked at the invitation in indifference and refused to join him.
Thinking till here he felt ridiculous to think that Adrian was very arrogant. He wasn't arrogant but he was very well cognizant of the ways world works.
Eryk: "Tell me more about it."
Rie: "Prince, this assassin was supposed to weaken you and then during the next attack you won't have a chance to..."
Though she didn't complete her sentence Eryk clearly understood her implications.

Eryk: "It's late. Go and sleep. We (Eryk) will think something"
Rie: "Alright. Good night prince."

Rie: "Say System how was it?"
System: "Praising yourself with your own mouth. Have some dignity Host 2570"
Rie: "Don't call me that. Call me Rie. This name sounds good. Say it.
the system, who is in no mood to argue: "Rie"

It was very early in the morning. The slight disturbance and system's sudden voice woke her up.
Noticing an extra presence she continued to pretend sleeping by adjusting her breathing.
Rie: "System who is the intruder?"
System: "Luis Hugo"

Feeling a hand moving towards her face she suddenly seized it and twisted it straddling the black figure and placing a knife on the neck she inquired in her cold and monotonous voice: "Who?"

"It's me Anna" the black figure removed the face masks and looked at her.
"Luis!" releasing him from her grip she looked at him who just received almost a fright she said, "don't do that again. You would have been killed."
Luis: "But you did not. I know you won't make such reckless judgments. Plus you already knew it was me wasn't it Riana?
    I came when I noticed you were delayed and found the dilapidated carriage and carcasses so I searched for the nearby shelter and this was the nearest. But you can't stay here any longer."
   Rie: "I understand. I was anticipating your arrival.
             Did you complete the task in the south-west barren land?"
   Luis: "Yes. Here is the entire proposal by the Baron and David Stefan. The secret route will be completed soon. You might have to visit the King."
    Rie: "David is becoming more intrepid. What about the killers who are supposed to ambush us for the second time."
Luis: "I delayed them and the previous mess is cleared."
Rie: "We will leave through the broken road. You must suggest the prince about this."
Luis: "The broken road? Isn't that same road that links to the Cursed Village?"
Rie: "Yes."
Luis: "Why so?"
Rie: "Luis, the prince is like the best quality metal that can only become the best sword by going through fire and hammering"
