The night was deep. She knew tonight was critical if success, then good but if not then, it's not good. So she already dressed in all black and concealed her face.

Luis entered and saw her all set: "Are you going somewhere?"

"Yeah", she said casually while tying her mask. She then called the System and asked it to observe Lydia and Marquis William.

Luis crossed his arms and leaned on the window frame: "Where are you going?"

Rie offhandedly replies: "Somewhere"

Luis can see her careless attitude and is quite annoyed but still continues asking: "Where? Don't tell me you are going to that Cursed Village right now!"

She stops searching for her dagger and finally looks at him: "What's with you all of a sudden Luis? I am not going to the Village right now."

Luis: "You know you can't leave right?"

Rie: "I do and I will be back soon so I want you to cover for me."

Luis is also stubborn and is reluctant to give in. He stays silent and doesn't reply until she turns back at him and finally realizes something is wrong.

"Are you alright? Are you drunk and out of your might or have you fallen in love?"

Luis: "But..." He was reluctant. He already felt unwell but when she was leaving he felt more hesitant. Something seemed off but he could not pinpoint exactly what.

Rie now resumed her sharp coldness that chilled him as a sculpture: "Luis doesn't forget that we have sworn our loyalties to his majesty. I won't hesitate to pay any price for his overall betterment but you can't your only one goal is to keep him alive and safe. So what we are doing is the exact thing.
Regarding my safety... you don't need to worry. I am going out for some inspection and you have to reason out with the prince for my sudden leave.
You can say that some personal matter came up. Anyways I'll leave first if the mattered won't be long I will be back before anyone finds out but if not... hope you can manage.
And one more thing, keep an eye on Lydia and her family, Lydia is not as simple as she seems. Don't let the Prince have a good impression or too much physical contact."

Luis: "Jealous"
Rie's eyes sharpened and her lips curled in a small smile: "Yeah, how can she look at the cold kid than a lively handsome man like Adrian, shame?"

Luis almost puked blood but hearing her laid back and sarcastic tone he would have continued to joke but the extra sharpness in her eyes already gave him a warning. He could only let her go and wish her to go safely.

The next moment a shadow appeared beside a woman's bed. When the shadow was almost going to touch the figure on it, a sharp blade came on its neck from behind.

"Who?" A raspy of a man came from behind. But the black figure was very agile too. It quickly created a gap between them.

"Brother..." The girl on the bed already opened her amber-brown eyes and called out softly.

Brother? What brother? No wait, isn't this Charles Justice? Darn this guy? Is he for real? This brainless fellow who only knows brawns.

Rie quickly removed her mask and looked at Amber. "It's me. Tell this maniac to hold his bloodthirst.

Amber was startled at first looking at the girl with forest green eyes looking at her with a gaze of pleading and helplessness, it looked, cute.

She shook her head away from these thoughts and turned to look at her brother and said: "Brother she is not harmful so keep your sword away."
