Mattia was, to say the least, shocked. He knows he hurt Kairi and what he did was wrong, but did he really deserve that? Kairi had only ever yelled at Mattia 5 times during their friendship (yes he kept track of it) this was the 6th... Mattia walked to the 7/11 near his house, pulling up his hoodie in order to mask the steady stream of tears running down his face. "Did Kairi really men all that? or was he just angry?" Mattia wondered. "but I've seen Kairi angry, he's never once done that." "fuck I really did screw up." Mattia's thoughts became jumbled as he focused on the surrounding noise of the streets. Although cluttered and loud the noises made a beautiful symphony, from the Karen with road rage screaming out of her window, to the two street cats hissing and yowling at each other a few feet away, it all worked together. This made him think of his boys, they were all so different, but they all worked together to create an amazing friend group. That was until him and Kairi split up... He walked into the small store and headed towards the slurpee machine, greeting the cashier with a small nod and smile as he walked past. He grabbed the largest size available and added half cherry half coke, that was Kairi's favorite flavor and in all honesty Mattia hated it until him and Kairi started dating, everytime him and Kairi kissed he would taste like the slurpee, so, to Mattia, instead of being Cherry Coke flavor it was Kairi flavored. He grabbed a straw and walked up to the counter. After he payed he walked outside, shit it's dark, he realized. He rushed home, still not having taste the slurpee, knowing his mother was probably waiting to beat his ass. He was right. As soon as he walked into his house his mother slapped him

"AY, ma what was that for?!" Mattia said rubbing the spot on his forearm where she hit him

"You know why! Don't act stupid." she said giving him a stern look

"I'm sorry I was late, I, um, went to go hang with Kairi and we got slurpees. Won't happen again" He said, lying through his teeth, well only about one part.

"Don't give me your dumbass excuses. From now on if you aren't home by 10 no phone for a month"

"okay, okay! I'm sorry" he replied rushing upstairs

By the time he entered his room the slurpee was already half melted, but that didnt matter. He just wanted to taste what Kairi tasted like again. He slowly put his lips on the straw and drank it, his taste buds were immediately reminded of Kairi. He was in heaven again, it was almost like he could feel Kairi's lips on his. Then... he got a text from Kay. Fuck, Kay, he completely forgot about Kay. Hey Baby, wanna come over ;). Mattia cringed at the use of a wink but brushed it off replying Hey Love! Can't rn my mom is mad at me :(. He returned his mouth back to the slurpee straw, tasting the heaven once again, and once again, he was interrupted by Kay. Improvise, Adapt, Overcome. Sometimes you have to take a couple risks baby, I'll be over in 20... Mattia went down stairs to put his slurpee in the freezer, wanting to save it for later. He had no idea what Kay wanted to do when he came over but right now sex wasn't an option. He scrolled through his Explore page for a bit until he heard a small tap on his window. that was fast. Mattia got up and to no ones surprise at all he saw Kay at the window.

"hey baby" Kay said climbing in the window and planting a quick kiss on Mattia's lips.

"hey my love. How have you been?" Mattia responded dryly

"i've been good, just missing you." Kay said flirtatiously

"i missed you too" Mattia said as he sat back down on his bed

   Kay sat next to him grabbing his chin and lightly turning it to kiss him. Mattia kissed back but not deep enough as to signal a make out session.
