07. Changes

"You came..."

"Anything for you, doll,"

[name] then felt herself being shoved forward into Tengen's arms and Tengen watched as Muzan scowled and walked away. Hakuji and the rest immediately arrive once Muzan was out of sight, and they quickly attended to Haizaki, who was badly beaten up.

"[name]? Are you alright?" Tengen asked as he dropped his bat. He then looked at [name] who was quivering terribly in his arms, and he couldn't help but hug her tightly against his body. He then hesitantly placed a hand on her head, and patted it gently, knowing that her scalp is going to hurt.

He felt [name] flinching upon contact and soon heard grunts and groans coming from Haizaki who was being lifted up by Hakuji. [name]'s head soon lifted up from Tengen's chest and looked at Haizaki. Her lips quivered as she immediately ran to Haizaki who got engulfed in a tight hug by [name].

"[name]..." and he sighed as Hakuji lets go of him, and the siblings dropped to the ground, hugging each other tightly.

"I'm so sorry, nii-san. If only I was stronger, I could have to stand up to him!" [name] cried out and Haizaki could only smile softly despite the bloodied state his face was in as he patted his younger sister on the back.

"Don't apologize, nii-san is still here with you,"

The loud cries of [name] were heard throughout the street, and eventually, it gained the attention of many students and passerby who were attending or hosting the carnival. They stared in shock at the bloodied state Haizaki was, and how badly [name] was breaking down.

"WHAT HAPPENED HERE?!" Hotaru yelled out as he came running together with Himejima. Himejima's eyes widened in response as he took a look at what had happened to his student, and he immediately knelt down beside the siblings and took a good look at Haizaki's face.

"Who did this to you?" Himejima asked.

"Their uncle," Hakuji answered and Himejima then looked at [name] with a soft look.

"[name], I'll need to bring your brother to the hospital. Would you mind letting him go?" he asked, and [name] lips quivered as she shook her head. She then felt herself being tugged back harshly by Hakuji, who then held her in his arms as Himejima then easily carried Haizaki in his arms.

"Haganezuka-san, I believe [name] needs to head home right now," Himejima spoke out and Hotaru watched as [name] squirmed in Hakuji's arms. His eyes then widened as [name] turned her body and brought her leg up, kicking Hakuji on the side of his head, causing him to let go of her.

"Such movements..." he whispered to himself and soon watched as [name] ran towards Himejima, grabbing hold of him by the arm.

"Don't take nii-san away from me! Don't!" and Himejima stopped walking as he looked at the frightened girl who was latching herself onto him.

"[name], your brother needs to get treated," Himejima tried to reason and he looked at [name]'s eyes that held nothing but pain within them. He blinked in confusion, and the next thing that happened was [name] being pulled away harshly once more.

"Doll, that's enough," and Tengen carried [name] over his shoulders and brought her away, despite her pounding hard against his back and using her legs to kick his chest.

"Don't take nii-san away from me!"

"Doll, stop it already. You also need to get yourself treated, I'm taking you to the infirmary,"

"I said put me down Uzui Tengen! Fucking put me down right now!" and [name]'s eyes widened when she felt Tengen's grip on her waist tighten, and she yelps in pain.
