Chapter 9~Promise me something

Connors POV:
It was now 1 week,and im holding my feelings for bethany.

Im just scared,Scared about getting rejected.

I thought for a while...Also something is annoying bethany.

She just wont ever tell me whats on her mind and whats annoying her.

Then i got a text from an unknown number.

'connor connor connor just to tell you to back off from bethany-K'

hmm,thats the something thats annoying bethany!i knew it.

i decided to ignore it.

they say ignoring is the best thing to do.

then suddenly a knock came from the door.

i went to the door and opened it to reveal Bethany

"hey bethany come in"i say as she came in.

"so um connor  i want to say  something important to say"Bethany says

i just nodded and gave her a sign to continue.

"i um i dont know how to say this"bethany says

"its fine"i say

"i like you"Bethany says

my heart started beating fast,the girl of my dreams likes me,we've known eachother for 1 week and she likes me.

"i like you too"i say

she just smiled and i went in for a hug she offered.

i hugged her so tightly and kissed her cheek,and then i remember that message from the unknwon number.

"so would you like to be my girlfriend?"i ask

"yes connor i would love to be your girlfriend"Bethany says

This day,january 3 2014 is the day bethany became my girlfriend.

"I love you"i say

"i love you too"she says

"connor promise me something?"she asks

"go ahead"i say

"dont treat me like Jc did because i was about to cry that day i felt i wanted to just run away from this world"she says sadly

"baby i wont i promise i really love you"i say as i kissed her softly in the lips.

She pulled away

she just smiled...

Her smile is perfect.Shes beautiful...

my phone beeped again.

'Promises arent always promises, They break apart connor, good luck with your reationship with bethany, it wont last trust me😏-K'

What does K means they break apart? hm weird.
