I look down on her watch to see three missed calls from work.
"oh (y/n) what am I going to do with you."
I put her down on the couch and call them back telling them that you transformed again and that you are sleeping right now. and also that you can't work today in result of what happened.
"okay thank you for calling and telling us bye."
"bye take care."
he hangs up the chat and he sits down on the couch and puts you in his lap. you cozy up and then curl up into a little ball. he starts to fall asleep and then takes you out his lap so he wouldn't crush you.

I wake up to kanaki's tail waving under my nose and I check the time to see that it is 4:52pm and I need to get on my suit and meet up with her class. I get to the end of the pathway to see that the class is here already and it looks like they have been waiting for quite some time. well most of them anyway.
I lead them down the trail and mina said something about kanaki that made me slightly irritated.
" hey do you think she lives in an abandoned haunted house because we have been walking for a minute in a half now and my feet are tired and you are leading us away from civilization. oh my gosh are we being kidnapped!"
"no. why would you say something like that kanaki is one of the most trust worthy people I have ever met in my life. not to mention nice. she helps so much people but she never gets it in return. instead she gets bitterness and hatred from everyone just because of her face and how she doesn't like to talk much.
yeah she may seem mean but that's only because she just met you. would you trust someone you just met."
everybody looks down to the path they were walking on because you were right nobody would trust someone just like that.
"kanaki's life is already as bad as it is right now and she doesn't need anymore people treating her badly. she's a good person just wait you'll see. it's so bad that she hasn't smiled in years. ever sense we were reunited I never seen her smile or laugh with a smile. she always does a quick 'hump that was really funny' and then that's it. I just want her back but after what happened years ago she gave up. her life of being kanaki and now she's just a person who only cares for others but not herself.
I hate it. I want her back. I want my kanaki back."
