Chapter 11: Spring Picnic...

GOGO'S P.O.V~ 

        Winter has finally came to an end and today Hiro and I decided to go on our first picnic together today! But before going to the picnic, many things have happened over the past 2 months. Many things have changing and also staying the same. My hair's getting longer, really random. At school, Hiro and I have been chasing each other around, hanging out at the library, and staring at each other while making silly faces! Speaking of school, Wasabi is with a girl named Lily! We all had the same robotics class with her  and Wasabi has been having a secret crush on Lily since the start. Fred and Hiro have been trying to convince Wasabi to tell Lily his feelings, and finally Wasabi had the courage to tell her the truth. It turns out she had a secret crush on him too! So they're a couple now. We also had a Valentines Day party at Fred's house and that was as much fun as the Christmas party. A couple of times in the past 2 months, Hiro, Fred, Honey, and I have had double dates at the mall and sometimes we had a triple date with Wasabi and Lilly. Anyways, today Hiro and I have decided to have a picnic since it's the start of spring break! I have to get ready! 

AT GOGO'S DORM~

HIRO'S P.O.V~

       So, today Gogo and I were going to have a picnic. Our first picnic ever! Also later today, I had to meet up with Fred at the formal men's clothes boutique. As Gogo opened the door, I swear I lost my breath for a second. She was wearing a flowy, long, yellow spring dress, had a plain, yet beautiful spring hat on, and she had her bag in her right hand. "What? Do I look okay?" She said as we were silent for a few seconds. "No, your far from okay. Your perfect." I said catching my breath again. "You flirt," Gogo said as she grabbed my hand and closed her dorm. "Well, it's true!" I said to her as we started walking out of the dorms. "Aww, thanks." She replied wrapping her arm around my arm. Then we got on my bike that I brought and we both got on. She held my waist tightly and I began to peddle to the park. 

GOGO'S P.O.V~

        I held onto Hiro's waist and rested my head to listened to him breath. As he started to peddle, I closed my eyes and rested for the moment that we were in...

AT THE PARK~

HIRO'S P.O.V~

        We settled underneath a shady area and laid everything out. "Mmm! Pie!" Gogo said as she took a slice and placed it on her plate. "I brought a lot of sweets. Hopefully you don't mind." I said as I took out some water bottles. "I don't mind at all! Things are better sweeter." She said as she took a bit into the pie and smiled. And so we continued eating and chatting about life...

        "Okay, so what do you want to do now?" I said as we both got up to stretch, with everything packed up. "I have a surprise. But you'll have to close your eyes." Gogo said to me and giggled. "Okay then." I said and I closed my eyes waiting for the surprise. SPLASH! Water splattered on my head and I immediately opened up my eyes. "WATER BALLOON FIGHT!" She said grabbing water balloons from her bag that she brought and she started running away. "HEY!" I said and smiled as I grabbed some water balloons and started to chase after her. We were throwing balloons everywhere! The giggles, the chasing, the fun...It's always something that I treasure...After we ran out of balloons, we both were soaked with water and that's when I suggested that we should fly a kite. "We can fly my kite that I brought while we wait for our clothes to dry." I said to her as I got my kite out. "Okay. This is going to be fun" She said and we unravelled the string and I started to run a bit to catch some wind for the kite. We flew the kite together and after awhile we were finally dry. 

        "Why don't we play hide-in-seek?" Gogo suggested and I rolled up the string from the kite. "Okay," I said and I started to count.

1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8...9..10! 

        "I'm coming!" I shouted after I opened up my eyes. I started walking but then I noticed that a shadow slightly taller than me was following behind me. I turned around and saw Gogo. "I thought you were going to hide," I said to her as she smiled. " I was but I didn't want to hide. I wanted to stay right here...Behind your footsteps..." She said as she slightly blushed. I just smiled and kissed the tip of her nose and we both smiled. BEEP! BEEP!  My watch alarm went off, to remind me that I had to still go meet Fred at the boutique. "Ugh, I have to go help Fred chose some clothes for his next date with Honey." I said to Gogo as I tapped on my watch and started grabbing our stuff. "Okay, I guess we should get back to my dorm." Gogo said as she got to the bike. We rode back and I handed her purse to her as we both got off. "I had a great time Hiro." Gogo said as she held onto her purse. "I had an AMAZING time." I said back as I pulled her in to a hug. I wrapped my arms around her waist, she had her hands on both my shoulders, and our noses touched as we stood silent for a few seconds. Slowly, we kissed each other on the lips and we then laughed silently. "Bye lovely," I said to her as we pulled away. "Bye, babe." Gogo said and waved goodbye. I started to peddle, and peddle, and peddle...And slowly, I biked away...

~ AT THE MEN'S BOUTIQUE~

        I settled my bike against the wall of the building and I pulled out my phone to text Fred to tell him that I was already here. He said that he was going to be there in 5 minutes and told me to go inside the shop to look at the clothes ahead of time.

        As I slowly opened the door, I remembered the first time that I came into the shop. It was when I was looking for a suit to impress Gogo. That memory led to a train reaction of memories for me as I was about to fully open the door. The time I confessed, our first date at the Ferris wheel, times hanging out at the campus, our sleepover, playing with leaves, playing in in the winter, our Christmas together, and our picnic...

And as I got inside the shop...I saw her...I saw...I saw...
