It was a normal school day for a nine-year old Jeongwoo to not go home at their house after school. His mom knows about this and has never scolded him when he goes home late.

His school is a few blocks away from home, so he knows how to go home already and does not bother his mom to fetch him after school. His mom is a busy online teacher that works at home, even though he's still young, he knows that his mom is always tired even if she doesn't go outside.

Jeongwoo's class is now over and he's here at someone's portch, knocking the door lightly with his little hand. He consider this place his third home, as his school is his second home and his real home is his first home. There is something in this place that he cannot find in those two homes.

It's Sunhee.

The girl who he's visiting after school and every weekend. She's his playmate in the neighbourhood.

... and technically, his first love.

"Oh Jeongwoo. You went here early. Did your teacher dismissed you earlier than usual?" Jeongwoo smiled at Mrs. Kim's greetings.

As he went inside, he answered the elder's question. "Yes! She made us do homeworks instead. Can I make my homework with Sunhee, Mrs. Kim?"

"Sure. Just don't let yourselves tired too much." He then smiled and nodded, running towards the family's backyard, where Sunhee is hanging out every afternoon.

It's an ordinary thing for the kids to get tired and use their energy as long as they want, but every time that Jeongwoo goes to his third home, he doesn't consume not even half of his energy.

Sunhee has a heart complication. All the things they play are not real games, but educating stuff wherein they would write or read and learn something.

Mrs. Kim had explained to the both of them what Sunhee's heart is, but every time she would explain it, Jeongwoo still can't understand even a bit.

He really is still a kid.

Jeongwoo enjoys the things they do for fun. Sunhee would let him color her coloring books, and he would let Sunhee help him in his homeworks, since Sunhee is homeschooled.

"Is interacting with kids... difficult?" Sunhee suddenly asked, she's in the middle of solving Jeongwoo's homework which is multiplication. Jeongwoo immediately fixed his glasses and looked at Sunhee.

"I don't know. It depends." He answered.

Sunhee did not utter a word after that and continues trying and checking her answers, but the bothered Jeongwoo stared at her.

"Why? Don't you want me as your friend?"

"It's not that Jeongwoo. I just want to interact with more people."

Jeongwoo pouted. His glasses are about to fall on his nose again, but this time, Sunhee was the one who fixed it.

"Hey. Don't sulk. And don't look down always too. Your glasses will fall!" Sunhee smiled, revealing her white teeth and cute fluffy cheeks.

Jeongwoo hopes that when the time comes that Sunhee will be fine, their friendship wouldn't change. He hopes that Sunhee won't replace him as her friend.
