Deceiving my friends would only take me to worst case scenarios. Ugh.

I never thought they have the guts to face my family and with their super thick faces, they managed to asked my Aunt if I can come with them to the Victory party. As my family don't care at all, they let me and even told me to sleepover at Audrey's because they can't wait that long for me.

"Just come home early tomorrow, you still have errands to run in the morning." My Aunt told me while my friends are still in front of us.

"Yes Auntie, I won't be late. I'll just go to the market first before heading home." I responded looking straight at her even though she's busy watching her favorite cooking show.

"Ohhh whatever. Just leave with the dinner ready and prepared in the dining table." She looked annoyed, obviously doesn't want to be disturbed watching and munching the nachos I made for their midnight snack.

I motioned my friends to go and will follow them outside. I just have to take a few things with me and a spare clothes for tomorrow since it's the weekend, I don't have to bring my school uniform at all.

"Aunt, I need--"

"Go get some money to your account this time. It's not like I'm the one responsible for everything. You should contribute some, I already gave you shelter to live and bed to sleep I even let you go to a school ever since." She rolled her eyes still facing the television. Although I am the one doing everything just to pay my school fees and other stuffs.

"I'll get going now." And that's all I can do as a response, no retort because first of all she was right about giving me a home and all to keep living.

Oliver was already on the driver's side of his Camry when I got out and Noah sitting next to his while Audrey is waiting for me at the back seat. I ran to them slinging carefully my backpack on my shoulders.

"What took you so long?" Asked Aud.

"I was thinking if I should bring all of my things because I'm still wondering why my Aunt let me go with ya'll knowing that it is a party and there could be rated X scenes." I answered without pausing to every word that came to my mouth and slowly pulled it to a smile and I gave them a peace sign. I didn't mean to be mean to them, if it sounds like that because it feels like that to me. Ugh.

Resting my back on Oliver's sedan is like resting my soul comfortably. This car's seat and everything is cozy I think I'll be getting one like this when I have enough cash... in my dreams. Ugh. Why is my life this hard anyway.
