Blackish Purple thing: Umami
The size of 'a favor's' island is the size of it's popularity, so many people like sweets so the flavor sweet would Dominate most of the lands. If there is a change in popularity just assume there was a war :P or a battle for land. Or you could assume a more peaceful way. By buying land off of the leader of the flavor. Idk 🤷♀️
Plot: We live in a world where people are divided by flavors. At age...um....2 (yes yes) you get sorted (bY tHe HaRrY pOtTaH hAt, ThE hOlY sOrTiNg HaT) and forced away from your family never to be reunited again unless they are the same flavor as their parents. Oh! And 2 sweet people could have a child that's a salt or something....People look like, eat/drink only their own flavors, and can only love people of the same flavor. Eating or dressing like another flavor is considered a sin 🤔 and is punishable by dEaTh! We have:
Bland-(Bread,Tofu,Water,etc)
🍞🧇🥞
Salty-(Chips,Fries,pretzels,etc)
🍟🍿🥨
Sweet-(Chocolate,lollipops,Gum,etc)
🍭🎂🍨
Bitter- (Broccoli, Lemon?, yOuR vEgGiEs, EtC)🍋🥦🌽
Spicy- (Spicy Broth, Curry, Pepper etc)
🌶🥘🍛
Sour-(Lemons, lime, cherries??, etc)
🍋🍒🍋
Umami(?)- (Cooked meat,Broth?, etc)
