PoV: 3rd Person

  Shadow, Knuckles, and Tails had all been placed under witness protection  programs for them to recover. The three of them were in a house together in a suburban neighborhood. They got free food and therapy. Shadow finished collage along with Knuckles. Tails still had one year of collage left before graduation. Shadow and Knuckles began working. Their lives slowly starting to move on now that Sonic had disappeared.

"Where do you think he went?" Shadow asked as he watched the city. The streets had become full again, people felt safe walking around at night.

"I don't know Shadow..." Knuckles replied, pulling the pizza rolls out of the oven as the timer dinged.

"What if Sprout-"

"Shadow... please stop..." Tails grabbed Shadow hand, "You tried to help him... He's gone now."

"I just... I wish that wasn't how we left things..." Shadow sighed as put his book down. Tails got attention from Knuckles in the mean time.

  They're lives were quiet, knowing they lost Amy to Exe left another scar in their memory. Her funeral was quiet, and not many people went aside from her parents and friends. Her body was cremated and given to her parents for safe keeping. She was never really talked about again.

  Shadow left the room and into the back yard, he laid in the grass and looked up at the stars as Knuckles and Tails ate in the kitchen. Shadow's red eyes gazed across the stars. The moon glowed a vibrant orange in the sky, a harvest moon that drew Shadow's attention...

"As wrong as it is..." Shadow continued to watch the sky, "I hope you three are okay."

---

  Blue quills were colored black and cut until they were short messy curls. Black eyes looked into the mirror to be sure no blue was left behind. The scissors, cut quills and dye were all thrown away and clothing was pulled over now black fur. Sprout, as Shadow named him, had dyed Sonic's fur blue. He now walked out of the stranger's bathroom. The house owner hadn't returned. Sprout left while he still could, but not without stealing all the raw meat and brussel sprouts from their fridge. He walked through the streets, eating raw brussel sprouts and meat as he walked. He walked far from the city, back to an empty house in the middle of nowhere. Once he finished his meal he laid down and closed his eyes...

  Green eyes opened, but no vomit came. His body was adjusted after being silent for so long...

"Where are we?" Sonic asked the empty house. No neighbors for at least  mile. He had true privacy here. Sonic stepped outside the house and saw nothing bit an open field, "huh?" Sonic felt to push his quills back and found them cut. He walked back into the house and looked around. It was already furnished and set with clothing in his size. He looked in the mirror, "Black... I guess that works... Is this home?"

"Yes, this is home now. And you're not allowed to leave."

"This is home now," Sonic rested against the door frame and admired his new home. He was no longer allowed off the property, and he would spend every day here.

  That fight the harvest moon rose on the new city near Sonic's new home. A city of fresh mobians and unsuspecting victims. City of hopeless life. A city which red eyes began to stalk and blood red tear fell in excitement. A city where a man walked in an empty street.

  Here, was where red eyes would find their new prey.

~~~ End? ~~~
  I'm not crying... you're crying!
  I really loved this book, and I knew it had to end some day. I loved this book, it was really exciting to write. I loved every chapter and the tensions the murders would bring.
  Is it a bit unsolved? Well duh! What did you expect? A cheesy "I love you," perfect ending?
   Let's hope Exe doesn't get you next.
I love you!
Goodbye~ 😈😈😈😈😈😈😈😈😈😈😈
