Feedback
As a member of The Cafe Book Club, you are required to provide feedback to your peers. This means providing supportive, constructive criticism to their work. This does NOT mean to be rude or offensive - we are all trying our best and the only way to improve is through practice and support.
Need help providing good feedback? See our tips below.First, a reminder of the partnership review rules:
> read (2) chapters of their partners work and leave (5) total comments
> (2) comments per chapter
> (1) additional comment at the end recapping how you felt about the chapter
> you must also tag @thecafebookclub in this comment so we can see that you have finished
• rude or offensive comments will NOT be tolerated** Please note that the comments are a MINIMUM requirement - feel free to comment such as you'd like, as long as you make the required amount. **
Now, see some helpful tips:
• perhaps begin with what you see first, the cover and the book summary. Do they draw you in? Too cliché? Do they give too much away?
• start easy! How was spelling and grammar? Any obvious mistakes?
• What did you like about the chapter? What didn't you like? Did anything make you laugh out loud, remember a similar experience, make you think? Those are good things to note. Did anything confuse you? What could be made clearer?
• how did you feel when the chapter ended? Are you eager for more? How can they improve?Happy reviewing, Coffee Beans! ☕️
