"Wh- Celine, wait. Wait!" Damien states as he quickly goes to get in front of Celine on the stairs, Y/N and JC stop behind her.
"Yes, Damien?" Celine asks calmly.
"I... are you alright? I know this news can't be settling well with you," Damien answers, the seer sighing in response as she pushes past him.
"I'm fine for now," she replies as she walks up the stairs. Damien follows her, Y/N and the telepath look at each other and follow.
"But all this talk of the occult! And- and Mark is dead, wait!" he catches up with her and places a hand on her arm to stop her. "Wait."
Celine looks at him with an unamused look, the district attorney and redhead stop and look at the siblings. Damien looks back at the seer after he collected his thoughts.
"I just didn't think that you were the type of person to get mixed up with all this," Damien says, but Celine looks at him with a stern expression.
"There is more to this world than you could ever hope to imagine. I just had my eyes open to a small portion of it," the seer tells him then she walks down the hall.
"I-," Damien starts but Y/N begins to walk past him.
"Just be careful!" he calls out to her then he looks at the district attorney. "You too."
JC walks to him and places a hand on his arm. "She'll be fine, Damien. I know she will," she half smiles at him. He nods.
"Please be careful," he tells her and walks off. The redhead sighs and goes to catch up with Celine and Y/N.
They go down the dark hall to the last door in the hall and enter the room. There is a table with a bowl of fruit on it and two chairs facing each other.
"Could you hand me my bag?" Celine asks Y/N, who turns to look for it and doesn't see it. When they look back at her, she has it and the table has her supplies on it such as a crystal ball, candles, and tarot cards.
"Thank you," she states as she sets the bag down next to her. "Please, have a seat."
Y/N sits down and both them and Celine look at JC, who is standing.
"No thanks, I'm fine with standing," she states as she leans against the wall. The seer removes her hat and veil, fixing her hair.
"Now, I'm sure this must be very unsettling for you, being thrust into this series of unfortunate events. But I promise, with your help, I'm going to get to the bottom of this," she starts to look through the tarot cards. "Now, I'm not sure who would want to kill Mark, but something tells me this seemingly significant event is actually a footnote in a much larger mystery unfolding in our midst."
She looks around the room and towards the ceiling. "I've never been very comfortable in this house. But something tells me..." she starts as she looks back at Y/N and JC. "Now that my eyes are open, there are dark forces surrounding this manor."
Celine closes her eyes, setting her hands on the table. The room around the district attorney and telepath starts to warp and darken around them, the redhead slightly loosing her balance as she falls towards the wall. Whispers and images from the past and future start to appear in front of them, almost as if from a different perspective of the ones they had of the situations.
"Keep you enemies close, eh?"
An image of the Colonel and the detective pointing their guns at each other near the front door fade into their view, the white glow visible from JC on the ground.
