As JC sits and takes everything in as she looks down at Abe's body. She suddenly feels the body in her arms start to stir. She places a hand on his face. The detective starts to cough. JC takes his hand.
"Abe?"
He starts to cough and looks up at her. He cocks his head.
"Jay? You're alive?" he pauses and looks down at the hole in his chest. "Wait...? I'm alive?"
JC chuckles and squeezes his hand.
"I can't really explain it right now. But I will later. I promise," she replies.
Abe places a hand on the side of her face as he sits up and smiles.
"You still look amazing," he grins. "Even with that hole."
"I could say the same about you, detective," she replies.
Abe smiles at her as they look at each other. The detective pulls her closer and she leans on his shoulder, placing an arm across her stomach. He starts to cough again and he covers his mouth. She looks up at him.
"What's wrong?" she asks him.
"William. I need to find him," Abe answers and JC nods.
"Yea. Speaking of find, where is Li?" she asks but he just looks at her.
"She... she ran," he frowns.
JC's face turns white, her fear rising. She starts to mess with her sleeves, slightly rocking back and forth. Abe pulls her closer and kisses her cheek.
"She'll be okay. She can handle herself. Okay?" he tells her and she slowly nods.
They both stand up and walk towards a room. They see there is a radio in there. They look at each other and nod.
JC walks over to the radio and creates a wisp that goes inside the system. After she does this, she goes into the corner and crosses her arms. Abe picks up the radio and starts to speak into it.
"Colonel..."
The detective coughs.
"If you can hear this...
You better run."
